They came love the look but wasn’t sure bc of the golf style took them to the Nike store to return them and couldn’t bc they look so similar to the originals so I kept them lolol thank god I didn’t return them. Love love the water proof mesh bc they so hard to clean. I normally do. 9.5 in OG but these fit me perfect in 9 I wanted that snug fit

I got the Golf as well, my only knock is that they are a little snug like you said, Im thinking about sending them back for a half size bigger, with Nike socks, its a really really tight fit

That waterproofing is gna make that mess crease and look really bad quick. I also don’t think there is any leather on these. I thought it was all synthetic. Could be wrong
Nubuck is synthetic suede. It’s all synthetic. The originals were synthetic. I disagree on the waterproofing, but creasing is a byproduct of walking naturally. Not a bother for some.

That’s a very good question. The Golf line typically is more limited, but there was no hype around them even though they are identical. So, not sure. But scoop another pair just in case haha

I do believe it’s nubuck. Felt is durable but actually water absorbing (like most shammies) so it wouldn’t stand a chance in places where you’d need water resistance + durability. Nubuck is already a faux suede so there wouldn’t be a need to avoid using it. But I’ll double check some sources…
@@RDQLUS no seriously..Sneaker heads usually don’t know shit about textiles and materials so we buy these kits and we get advice from Cats that don’t even watch their own clothes. Unless u have suede, ALL shoes are washable. My off-white presto‘s Were getting yellow, foam and all. Washed them they look and smell new. Didn’t ruin them in the least. Did the same thing with my off white jordan Chicagos that people are SOO afraid to wash that the toebox look like someone shit on them. Not mine! Used a brush for the sole, threw them in a garment bag with some clean and people think the’re fake cuz they look so good. Just sayin

No disrespect, but the golf version is NOT the O.G.. When you said big window vs big bubble. Golf versions are big window. O.G. versions are big bubble. The reason you may not have been able to find the ACTUAL O.G. is because they only produced 1,986 pairs in honor of the year they were originally produced. I own the actual O.G. and there's alot more differences like the big window versus big bubble. Took an act of congress to get mine. I really hope your able to cop a pair of the actual O.G. The resale value is gonna be phenomenal. Even though I'm NEVER selling mine, (though i guess we all have a price, but the price will be UP THERE....like UP there!!!) And mine are stocked...and BARELY rocked. Worn once for on foot review. Good luck copping the actual O.G. Have a nice day.

You are right, the “big bubble” vs. “big window” seems to be the difference, but Nike, Flight Club, GOAT and more are listing them all as “OG Big Bubble” with the main distinction being “Golf” and waterproofing-the dishonesty in advertising doesn’t surprise me much, because they want units to move and even the Golf sold out shortly after. I’d want to see them side by side to confirm some of that firsthand, even if only in high quality photos. I did mention the “Big Window” version of the Air Max which was basically an AM 2 prior to the AM 90 (original color was black & Persian violet), but even that was the 3-gap bubble and a slightly bigger window. I doubt I’ll get my hands on the OG BB because even as a footwear lover, some things just don’t make sense to me. But I’ll keep an eye out. Appreciate the comment with the great info!
Big bubble vs big window... their the same EXACT length, the bubble is just significantly wider than the window. May be a golf thing, like the waterproofing, and sole. I don't play golf, so I couldn't, in a million years, tell you why their different. But your right about Nikes marketing.

The windows are the same length, but the taller window is significantly less stable-much more “squish” factor for putting that air bag comfort to work. In golf, you can’t have that much play at the heel and ankle because that’s the base of your power in the swing. PS: I found a few sources for legit pairs of OG Big Bubble, so I’m going to negotiate price and then do a follow-up. Appreciate ya! 👊🏾🤙🏾
