So I feel like the idea as a whole makes sense in general. You talked about little about the process of approaching companies, but how do you go about doing the upselling? How do you convince these companies and how do you determine what to charge for the added services?
My opinion is that you should not give a site for free but at a irresistible rate. Pricing is based on value. How many different people would they need to hire, including benefits and training costs/time to ramp them up to your services. If you are doing web design, web hosting, funnel creation, and business marketing, that is 3-5 different job titles. So the value is in saying "you could waste your money hiring 5 of me or I can provide this service a this 5 figure one time setup fee plus a monthly maintenance/support fee that may include additional features like weekly or bi monthly QA calls or monthly website/funnel/pipeline templates.
Not really a site is it ? More of a basic landing page with no real seo

It’s just to showcase to the client to gain their interest plus it’s free. After you give them the basic site u can charge them to make the website more dynamic, seo, and just adding features to the website
GHL has a wordpress integration. Landing pages (which are usually created via funnels) vs sites are 2 different options in GHL. A landing page is more of a SPA used for funnels, social media ads, etc. You can use a funnel as a website until you get a website for your services. A website is something default that may not change often that highlights your consistent services/offerings. The templates are even different. However, they do have templates for each with a common design. For example, you may send a lead magnet via a landing page that may have the same design as your website. However, the customer may not have access to the free/discounted lead magnet if they went directly to the site, even though everything looks identical.

its automatically published with a click of a button once create which is likely why he created them a manual account. It just won't be your custom domain by default. Pointing custom domains takes propagation time (24 hours or less, depending on TTL). You or the customer will need to create a cname or A record to point to the GHL site IP, which is provided. There is also option to just resell the CRM as a self managed service or offer a done for you, managed service.

And how can I really know what to put on the website if they literally have no website to get the info from. You are their webmaster, so you can offer them a subscription based service to manage their website and changes that would cost less than having someone in house. GHL has a service calendar where ppl can order services directly. Make sure to calculate things like vacation, sick days, retire contributions, and health insurance into the costs savings for the customer considering hiring a webmaster. Also include training time. It takes 3-6 months for a new hire to be profitable and about 2 years to match the value of the employee they replaced, on average. So even though a smaller company may pay $15-$20/hr on average to a new webmaster employee, they may actually be costing the employer double or triple that annually with no guarantee. If they want to manage their site anyways, you offer a subscription based CRM fee for software access, that has no support outside of documentation. GHL's only requirement for reseller plans is that you do not charge less than they do for the same plan.

In case the client only wants the webpage and no other services, once my subscription to my agency's plan in GHL expires, will the website for this client stop functioning? So, offering the service of creating a website for a client wouldn't be viable in this scenario unless we can persuade them to use other GHL services to ensure monthly payments. Am i right? I asked this same question in support. You or the customer have the option to transfer to your own independent account. However, you don't just want to offer the account only. GHL offers pixel and google analytics that can help drive traffic. There is also workflow automation and funnel creations based on website interaction that would be beneficial to your clients. For example, abandoned carts and email sequences. There is automation based on someone joining the mailing lists but also someone making a purchase. You want to be able to autodeliver digital products or legal agreements that need to be signed based on decisions customers make.

you have a problem of thinking so far ahead of problems that you don't yet have. I do too, let's agree to act on what we want right now.
If you sign up under anyones agency, you can create your own and transfer out. The point of joining someone's agency is for the specific perks they offer. Consider you are a real estate broker that has many agents that is being mentored by another broker. It may benefit you to sign up under a reseller that has a real estate niche because all of the content created will benefit you. Example content may be website/funnel templates or workflow automation and email templates based on the step of communication with your constituents.

You dont need to give the website to the client. They would buy a domain and have their registrar point the domain to GHL via A record or cname DNS record creation. If the customer wanted access to manage their own site, you would then leverage the reseller features or SaaS crm on a monthly subscription base. Notice he created their own instance within his SaaS account to later upsell them. Remember, its not about if the customer can do it but if they want to do it. Example, if I make 20k+ per cosmetic surgery or per law suit, I want to focus on my medical/law expertise. Even if I am technically inclined, I would lose money in my primary business trying to configure my CRM. Even if i didn't lose money in that business, i would lose social time (for hobbies, family, travel, etc). So if I offer this automation service as a one time 5 figure fee, plus monthly/annual hosting fee, my client would only need to acquire 1 customer a month to validate my services and rate. This won't be true for all niches but I wanted to give a good example.

What's your offer? What's the benefit or value tot he customer? Chatgpt can help you determine your offer. Your course seems to cheap to offer real value. People can see how you value yourself based on how you price your offer. How much is your ideal client generating monthly? If someone is generating 5 figures or more monthly/annually from your mastermind, your rates may be too low.

There is wordpress integration for custom sites. You can also use a third party or AI service to help you create website DESIGNS (not backend functionality) relatively easily. You can then leverage tools like Zapier or Make automation to integrate with GHL.
