Didn’t know I could learn so much in just a few minutes! Wish I’d watched this video before tackling a BMW GSA 1250 Few months ago..would’ve saved myself a lot of inconvenience & injuries. Excellent video Sam, please make more!!!!
There is also so much more to learn! :) We only covered 70% of the basics so we encourage all new riders to the dirt to take a professional course. Dirt Bikes are easier to start on but if ADV is what you have your eye on, there are plenty of options too!
Awesome clear breakdown of the beginner techniques. Adventure motorcycle classes are the most fun and positive experience! Gaining confidence, technique, and the laughs make it one of the best ways to spend a weekend. This makes me want to take the Rawhide class even more than before!
It is really an exceptional place. Also Hot Tip....the three meals served everyday you are there is nothing short of exceptional. Come for the motorcycle training, stay for the food.
Absolutely essential knowledge. Other than doing it IRL, this is the quintessential video for all when riding ADV (off road on a capable bike).

Great content and information for 1st time ADV riders like myself who don’t have a ton of access for dirt riding focused schools!
Right on! Yeah everyone can practice the basics but always remember it's good to do a course every year or two the get critical feedback.
