Just a thought or a pointer... if you don't weed the vinyl between the lines then you can use those as lines as well. Now they are always the same size which may be different than the lines you're actually using. But even if you don't use them for this project they can be used for another and no wasting of vinyl. Love this basket weave. might be trying this soon.
Yes!! I’ll make another tumbler using those pieces, it will just be the opposite placement. That way it all gets used. 🥰

Have you tried the parchment tape method? I find it works pretty well trying to line up vinyl before I put it down permanently. :) Very pretty, would love it more if it was blue. ;)
I haven’t but I like to live life on the edge. 😏 I have a basket weave pack over at The Glitter Guy that has blue floral vinyl. So far, every color I’ve done & seen looks beautiful. 🥰

This is beautiful and a great tutorial! Question though...could you just cover the whole tumbler in the floral vinyl, epoxy it, and then do the glitter? I've never done something like this so wasn't sure!
Thank you!! You totally could. This was just makes it easier, I think. Because I don’t have to take off and hand paint my stripes. I also like that you can especially get two tumblers from your vinyl sheet, because you can make another with the extra pieces and then glitter the larger parts. So the opposite of the first.

what setting and pressure on cricut do I use?
I have a Maker. I made a custom setting with a pressure of 70. I have another video showing how to make custom settings, if you need it. 🥰

I notice you place your vinyl before glitter! I’ve heard others say to glitter first. Is this just personal preference?
I personally wouldn’t glitter first, because I don’t want to risk getting stray pieces of glitter under my vinyl causing little bumps.

No worries! I use the Rustoleum 2X clear gloss for sealer.
What dimensions do you use for your cup?
For the Hogg 20oz Skinny, the regular not the classic, I do 9.20Lx8.05H.
Did you put the sticky tape over the paint or epoxy first?
I put it right over my spray paint. Just let it dry for an hour or so and it’s ready to go. 🥰
