Just a thought or a pointer... if you don't weed the vinyl between the lines then you can use those as lines as well. Now they are always the same size which may be different than the lines you're actually using. But even if you don't use them for this project they can be used for another and no wasting of vinyl. Love this basket weave. might be trying this soon.
@@Emeryandk I think she meant the vinyl you crumbled from the Pin stripes at 9:42 since those were lines that you could’ve used on another project, if you get me. 😊 Love love love this design! The florals, the colors, everything was perfect 😍
Your video made me feel so much better. I’ve been wanting to try template tumblers but I’ve been putting it off because I’m scared. But your tutorial helped tremendously! I can’t wait to try this!! Thank you!!
Your explanation of it was so much better than anyone I've ever watched. I got my cat scratch paper and vinyl but have yet to work up the courage to actually give it a try, but hopefully will soon. Thank you again for your amazing tutorial. The cup is so gorgeous.@@Emeryandk
Super cute and pretty intricate work!! I ordered some of the tacky tape from the Glitter Guy but forgot to use your code! I’ll be ordering some glitter from them and will then, hopefully you get a little kickback!! Love your work and style! Just getting back into tumblers and looking forward to trying out the tacky tape! Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Thank you so, so much!! No worries at all, I more love the idea of people saving a bit of money..especially with how expensive things are right now. I hope you love your tacky tape! You’ll have to let me know once you get the time to try it out 💜💜
It’s gorgeous!! I have been wanting to do a basket weave but could not find a template I love. So I just had to get it so I can make one in the future!
Have you tried the parchment tape method? I find it works pretty well trying to line up vinyl before I put it down permanently. :) Very pretty, would love it more if it was blue. ;)
I haven’t but I like to live life on the edge. 😏 I have a basket weave pack over at The Glitter Guy that has blue floral vinyl. So far, every color I’ve done & seen looks beautiful. 🥰
There was some licensing issues, so they had to take it down, I was told. BUT it’s available at NMO. nmoshop.com/products/pretty-in-pink-scaled-vinyl?_pos=1&_sid=def7b7b38&_ss=r
This is beautiful and a great tutorial! Question though...could you just cover the whole tumbler in the floral vinyl, epoxy it, and then do the glitter? I've never done something like this so wasn't sure!
Thank you!! You totally could. This was just makes it easier, I think. Because I don’t have to take off and hand paint my stripes. I also like that you can especially get two tumblers from your vinyl sheet, because you can make another with the extra pieces and then glitter the larger parts. So the opposite of the first.

Yes!! I’ll make another tumbler using those pieces, it will just be the opposite placement. That way it all gets used. 🥰

WOW !!!!!!!!
Thank you!!! I hope you try it out. 😍
this i very pretty im going to try to do it now lol. What size did you resize the template to?
Thank you!! Let me grab my laptop and check!!
For the 30oz skinny I used, I sized my template 9.94WX9.30H
Do you cut the tacky tape and vinyl using the same dimensions?
Yes!!
what setting and pressure on cricut do I use?
I have a Maker. I made a custom setting with a pressure of 70. I have another video showing how to make custom settings, if you need it. 🥰
I would appreciate that. On struggle bus
Hola yo te veo todos tus videos pero quisiera saber dónde puedo buscar el dibujo de este video
Sorry! Another question…what sealer did you use on the glitter?
No worries! I use the Rustoleum 2X clear gloss for sealer.
I cannot find the design template with the link provided - could it be someplace else - I googled did not find the one with 4 designs ??

Did you put the sticky tape over the paint or epoxy first?
I put it right over my spray paint. Just let it dry for an hour or so and it’s ready to go. 🥰
@@Emeryandk thank you for the quick response. This tumbler is gorgeous.
What dimensions do you use for your cup?
For the Hogg 20oz Skinny, the regular not the classic, I do 9.20Lx8.05H.
I notice you place your vinyl before glitter! I’ve heard others say to glitter first. Is this just personal preference?
I personally wouldn’t glitter first, because I don’t want to risk getting stray pieces of glitter under my vinyl causing little bumps.
What tacky tape do you use
It’s from The Glitter Guy. They’re linked in the description box. 💜
I did not find the pink petals vinyl on The Glitter Guy site. Do you have a direct link?
There was some licensing issues, so they had to take it down, I was told. BUT it’s available at NMO.

Would you sell this I love it
Queria uma professora linda para me ensinar a fazer
What are the dimensions for the template please
For the 30oz skinny I used, I sized my template 9.94WX9.30H
This looks sooo difficult
It’s so simple! Just takes a little patience and a good show in the background. 💜💜
