This producer knows what he is doing. This track is obviously made for mixing, as well as tracks by everyone who "seems to think adding beats makes it sound amazing" . The beginning and end are where the DJ will be mixing, so it's better that those sections remain sparse. For that reason, playing it stand-alone is going to sound slower. Just sayin' ;)
