I used to like this some time ago. Helping out Blender newbies. But that all changed quickly. To a point where he said he didn't care much for those who couldn't keep up with the speed he used to create these tuts. He actually said that in a video once. I am a newbie and i love Blender and i love people that love Blender and know how to teach and help others. So for this reason i chose to not follow CGMatter anymore. Apart from that, we don't need someone to try to be Ian Hubert because A) Ian Hubert actually knows what he is doing, not just on a professional level, but on a teaching level as well and B) Ian Hubert is the master of Blender and isn't trying to be someone else, which is what i am sensing here and C) (Yes, there is a C), the Lazy Tutorials and how Ian presents it with the speed that he does isn't a trend, it's Ian's thing, so don't go and copy it, create your own style.
When he's adding the material for the grass network, make sure you have the initial grass object selected not the terrain. Sounds obvious but I made that mistake so If anyone else did too, make sure to do that. :)
Got to shading. World part when okay, when I switch to object I can only edit the ground shading, not the grass. Looks like there's just straight missing steps here. No idea how to proceed. Model looks great though, and I'm absolutely at beginner level. Edit: figured it out. Select "plane" (or grass if you had to diligence to rename it to that) in the layers viewport, then add the material and start shading.

I just wish you didn't zoom in so much on the first tutorial, many times you told us to go to some tab with no visual of where it is or what your clicking because you're so zoomed in or don't adjust it. This method sucks for game engines, use a simple method and just create a plane, then line it up to see from all sides, add a picture of a lot of grass with a transparent alpha, then create a transparent material where only your grass shows. There are many ways to do this, I created my own way to cut memory usage and pixel space.
