Hat films are always my favourite reason to watch jingle jam. Even if theyre all hungover and unenthusiastic they end up energetic and full of enthusiasm
As much as I love the normal jingle jams, there is an argument to shortening it to only 2-3 weeks. Everyone felt a lot more energetic and engaged with the shorter timeframe and not nearly as worn out by the time we got to the final streams. And the shorter timeframe cut out some superfluous streams (and also unfortunately some other great ones) so we were mostly left the best and most popular streams. I think going from Dec 1st to the 23rd is the perfect amount of time. That gives you three weeks to do all the best streams and any new or extra stuff they want to add in, and then they get the full Christmas to New Years break to recover and enjoy time with loved ones.

This year is the first year since they started doing the charity streams that I haven't donated. For more reason, 1 reason is that I kind of don't trust the new site, 2. I also kind of just forgot, and 3. I don't feel comfortable supporting Yogscast anymore, they seem to care more about what you have in pants and what pronoun you use (not all the members, but Lewis is especially bad), they seem to listen to their reddit/twitter snowflake "fans" far to much, and not listen to the fans that just watch them for their content (and their personalities back in the day). I is pretty obvious that the majority of their fans were against the booting of ThatMadcat, when you looked at the comments talking about it, the comment in support of Thatmadcat had many, many more likes than those condemning him. What I don't understand is how Lewis and co cant see that going full sjw, is a real bad idea. Considering that most channels that go woke, falls over and stops being relevant. I know it's an old saying but it is still true when it comes to the Yogs, "when you go woke, you go broke". Ohh and before anyone comes crying about it not being at least somewhat true, the yogscast is hemorrhaging subs on nearly all channels on both youtube and twitch, and they are also loosing relevance, Lewis said so himself in one of the streams, and yes they were hemorrhaging before thay booted turps, sjin and Madcat, but it picked up speed when they got the boot. Another "proof" sjins channels is loosing subs slower than duncan and the main channel, this is despite it being inactive for more than a year.
