Thank you xx if you like my voice my other channel (with my face) is th-cam.com/channels/pc1Vf9XcaBWGy3Zd9BfQLg.html or you can listen to me on Spotify open.spotify.com/artist/6bZGODaOX6z5xKp5j7RHQc I don't get much spare time but I've been meaning to put some covers on my other channel so I'll add this to the list x
I've always loved that song and I've been meaning to start practising the uke more, this video has made me determined to pick it up again. I can't sing for toffee, but I can howl along with those forced to listen to me.
☺️ I've always loved it too, fantastic words right? Yes definitely pick up the uke and just give it a go, you'll surprise yourself! Also never worry about the singing, sing for pleasure 😊
@@RhythmRoMusicTutor My electric uke saw the light of day for the first time in way too long, all thanks to you and this tutorial. Now I just need to stick at it!
Rhythm Ro Music Tutor looking forward to it! Love your style! 😊 (I sent your link to my uke teacher here in the States and told her that you sound like her “sister from across the pond.” )😁🎶
Hey! Thanks for watching :) If you mean why 'bulk up' the C Major chord with a G on 3rd fret, I just prefer to play C that way. The C Major chord is made up of C E G so I'm adding another G to it.
@@RhythmRoMusicTutor I Agree it sounds better and thanks for that! What I meant (and realize I was not clear) the very first note of the song (4th fret , 2nd string) can also be played with the third string opened.... which I find easier... Just wanted to know if there is a reason and if I should practice one way or the other... again, new player here so this might be a dumb question... sorry if that is the case and thanks a million again for this tutorial.
@@raphaeljasmin7412 ah my apologies! It's because I was used to playing it this way on guitar 😅 a lot of the shapes I'm used to on guitar work on uke you see. By all means use the easier method, not a dumb question 😊👍

@@priscillahudson3625 That's awesome! Thank you :)
Thanks for the vid. Quick question from a beginner here... Why play 4th fret on the second string and not open on second string?
