Most of us have heard about the scandal of some Catholic priests that were molesting young boys and altar boys but Vatican knew and so afraid of losing Christians and destroying the religion that they would just take the offending priest and send him to another parish. This was not all priests but one is too many and I'm happy this finally saw the light. In the song Dax is saying that They All Knew were the Cardinals and Pope, in other words the Vatican itself. The man who came in to kill was one of the victims of this horrible crime and if he killed most of the ones in church were probably some in the parish who also knew but not sure about the parishioners. Dax has many songs on challenging or asking God to answer his doubts. If this really happened to him then it's no wonder he or any other victim of this sexual abuse has PTSD. This disease comes from many traumas and has devastating consequences. Maybe is why he turned to alcohol and if not then would be an added reason for it. By releasing this song and telling the world about what happened will go a long way in helping him release the guilt and shame that he never should have attributed to himself but sadly & unfortunately carried with him far too long. Stay strong & I pray for all the victims of any sexual abuse of any kind. God has already blessed you and now let Him help to heal you. 🙏🏽🤙🏽✌🏽
With Dax you really have to listen to each bar because each one holds weight. My take on this listening to all his music is he knew people who were sexually abused by a pastor. If you look at

you can see he got them but not Dax personally. That's the true part of the story. not necessarily the shooting part although we all know it has happen.
He also references this in his song Dear God. Highly recommend listening to that. I always pull up the lyrics and read while listening because all his songs are so heavy. I have to listen to them like 20 times.
