    Awesome plane.
A GA pilot and a 1948 North American Aviation plane owner just built the gas version of the plane you just flew.
He told me he got tired of watching me walk down the dock with the FW and other planes I have and fly almost everyday.
BTW his 1948 NAA plane is built with left over P51 parts....tail and wings.
Cool plane and even funner when he give me control of her.
May God continue to bless you and your family.

Everyone loves a good Ultra Stick-especially when it's capable of smooth transitions forward and reverse.
Side note: The BPRC site link to Spektrum wasn't working for me, so I bought my new G2 4s 2200 via the HH link. Just want to make sure you guys get the credit for link purchases. Nate & Abby mentioned some troubles with HH and their links recently.
Love the videos. Great Camera Crew-ing! I'm starting a new job tomorrow, after searching for WAAAY too long. Can't wait to blow my 1st paycheck on an NX8 via your links 👍

I would love to see a knife edge down the runway on any plane. Come on brian. You have a ultimate hanger. Give us a high speed knife edge on something. Love your channel.

We are hopefully just a few days or maybe weeks - waiting for the engineering to get complete for the permitting process....then the real fight will be working against MOTHER NATURE, but she's WAY easier than the zoning office - LOL ;)

I’ve got the non pnp ultrastick with a power 60 and 5” dubro wheels. A great everyday go to plane. Can’t beat the price on this pnp tho. Waiting for my Blade 550 combo. Are you?

I'm sure u probably don't see all the comments and I'm sure u probably get the same requests I'm about to pitch to you .....but my husband LOVES flying he's done it as long as i have known him but ive spend hundreds of dollars buying him planes u build caus3 he loves building them we watch u doily but all the planes i've bought him have never got off the ground all the parts come in one order and yet something is always wrong where they don't fly he needs to fly it's a outlet he needs foe his outlet to keep his sanity u if all people should know what that's like he hasn't been able to fly in years because we are below poverty with disability issues so we have little money and kids to raise so if ever u want to out of the kindness of ur heart donate a cheap older even crappy model he would be 4ever greatful since u have tons of them and money to make them fly we currently live in a small trailer don't have alot and we live on 1000 a month for our whole family so if ever your feeling kind and generous we would gladly take any donation so he can enjoy one aspect I'm his life otherwise he'll 4ever watch ur videos sadly dreaming and wishing he can someday afford to do the one thing his life deserves thanks GOD BLESS either way you all take care thanks for all the great videos

We usually see most comments, but don't always have time to reply. Please accept our apologies!
No need to be sad, or to think you (or your husband) can't get in the air! Everyone has to work within their means, disability or not. You and your family are doing the best you can, and obviously your family has to come first...needs and then FUN, if there's anything left over. I have to assume you're doing the best you can, so when and if you're ready to take the next step, you might consider getting him something that's a GOOD VALUE, rather than just expensive. You don't want to get him into the wrong plane, or you'll spend way more than you have too, to get flying. For example, an Ultra Stick would be a terrible choice, given your circumstances, but I assume you just happen to be watching this video, so you're commenting here. Instead, what about the SUS (Slow Ultra Stick)???
The plane would be about $200 - bprc.me/UltraStick
      Battery would be about $28 - 1300 3S bit.ly/3Bc4hd2
Transmitter - We use the NX10 - bprc.me/NX10, but admittedly, this would be more than you need to get started, so you can get a lot less, about $250 for the DX6e - bit.ly/4598Aks ...which will eventually need to be upgraded to fly all the more expensive models he wants over time, but this will get you flying for MOST of the models now, and there's something coming right around the corner that will make another option for you, but it's not cheaper than this one...FYI)
      Charger about $60 bit.ly/3J502C2
...so if you need ALL the stuff I listed, it's a lot more than you'll want to spend at once, but if you want to get flying, this is one way to do it. There are RTF (ready to fly) packages out there too, which might be cheaper than this, but you'll be one step closer to flying your next plane, if you do it this way. Keep in mind, even when you've got more money, you're not going to get EVERYTHING you need in one purchase, unless you're just crazy rich. Most people in the hobby will buy one or two things at a time, and then spread it over decades of investment. It's a LOT at the begging, and it gets easier over time, as you get the "basics" covered. That being said, with $1000 per month, you're going to be very hard pressed to keep up with the cost of this hobby. It's not the cheapest, but it's certainly not the most expensive hobby out there.
What might work best for you, is to get connected in a local club, and see if there's anyone who has a CRASHED plane that they wouldn't mind letting him have for free. You can do this for a few weekends and you might have enough parts to make a whole plane. This is what a lot of people do when they're looking to get into the hobby, but don't have a lot to spend. I realize this isn't what you'd like to hear, but this is good advice. You can fly rc, on a budget, but it is admittedly harder.
Personally, and I can't speak to your specific situation, I've found it easier not to be in a hobby that I can't afford. I have been in places, throughout my adult life where I would be thought a fool to be flying RC planes...as there were more important things to buy / pay for, that my families needed. I'm NOT saying this is your situation, but I can say that with $1000 per month coming in, I wouldn't be looking to get into RC planes at the moment. The cost to keep flying may be more than you can bear, unless you have a friend who crashes their planes a lot. Then you just need a transmitter, charger, a few second hand batteries, and a crashed plane from time to time, to fix. This is what I would do, knowing what I know now...but I wouldn't have known that in the times of my life where I couldn't afford planes. I wouldn't have even thought of this.
I hope this message is well received, and you hear it from our hearts.

I have and have only flown the FT Simple Stick but it and other "Stick" models I've seen flown appear to have similar flight characteristics. Sure, they're different in size and power and some don't have flaps but they all seem to be of the same pedigree. [Well duh! Just look at them.😊]
