What does shanty mean in Korean?
It's actually a hindi word which means silence or peace and its shanti not shanty
In english, a shanty is a poorly built shack (or a tricky house) or can refer to a song chanted by sailors (this lyric is a chant). Also, the whole vibe of the song is chaotic, not peaceful. So I don't think they are using the Hindi word! Just an English word that sounds the same :)@@caratiny-sx9kt

The details about this mv are so immaculate. From matching the theme perfectly to the expressionless actor and blinking lights and a fucking bop of song. They appeared in multiple kcons and on tour, they have put out several reality shows and choose a comeback date with many big artists also promoting. Getting them in front of so many eyeballs and engaging people's curiosity was a smart strategy. Soon they will have their own sizable Fandom

For the people who want to know the MV concept:
The title is Dokkaebie jib which means TRICKY HOUSE and in Korean it means goblin house. In this concept the members are goblins and goblins like to play. If you play with them they'll grant your every wish (they'll give you money etc like in 2:38 and 3:00) and if you don't play with them you don't wanna imagine what they'll do to you. They'll ruin you. Also after playing enough they turn into brooms like the members in the MV.
Also the first line of the bridge has been taken from an old Korean song with animated goblins and the first line of Minjae's rap has been taken from an old Korean song
