- I am so excited to bring to you this sound comparison. For my money, the Bose Revolve Plus has been such a great speaker so far. 3 years and it has been quite the journey. Truly Bose makes some great products. Rs 24,500 I had spent in buying it. Right now its for Rs 20,000 odd. Totally worth it. The product is durable, good looking, sounds amazing, friends will love its depth, it has been through the yards you know with me. Also when I first got the Bose Portable Home Speaker I was surprised. It’s loudness is unquestionable. Bose did such an amazing job in increasing the projection and the sound philosophy is a keen departure from the previous. They are both great speakers and I say buy both because truly you must own both. If you have the Revolve Plus, then like me you will take MORE TIME to come to a healthy concluion about the speakers.

I have the revolve plus and just ordered the portable home speaker, I’m looking forward to comparing the two.

Which is better revolve plus or portable?
I like the revolve plus more, but only because I use it more. I take it golfing, up to our cabin in the woods, to the beach, whereas the portable home speaker always stays home. As far as sound goes they are both excellent, the potable may have slightly better sound but that is debatable. For me, if I could only pick one of the two I would go with the revolve plus because it’s less fragile and a little more water resistant.
Had to change music because of silly copyright issues done by the creators/philanderers. Apologies for breaking continuity.

U can use airplay 2 to jump between speaker instead of disconnecting and reconnecting it so we can really hear the differences between both revolve+ and phs
airplay doesn't apply to revolve+
@@yizhaoqi7847 not necessarily "airplay", but you can use the button before you go to airplay. the one shaped like airdrop is for switching your audio output

If you had the revolve then its fine , good you sold it but if you had the revolve plus, i dont know...Portable Home Speaker is a weirdo for sure.

In video the PHS has better bass, but that does not mean better audio quality. Hola Antonio. I suggest you wait a day, I am loading a Marshall Review / Comparison video soon. But between the two, I recommend Bose Revolve Plus as its a better speaker.

Yes but somehow I dont like that setup. It just sounds so alien. I have 2 revolve plus speakers but never ever do that. But if you must, then you must.

Finally a decent review/comparison of bose PHS. Definately it sounds amazing,fuller and the vocals are crisp. A minor caveat that bose music app( for wifi use) is extremely buggy..I have to hard reset the speaker at least once a month..but the sound experience is worth it. p.s The charging cradle has to be bought separately but is definitely cool and convenient.
Bose music app is buggy you're right. Even with my NC700 headphones it refused to handshake. It will take me months to figure out the features. But Alexa can be a plus as it means you don't need a device paired to make things work.

@@KanwarAnand We teach Kundalini yoga so we needed portable quality speakers, unfortunately we don't live near to any specialised hifi shops,could only do an online purchase which meant I had to rely on feedback with the reviews.
Your feedback is good so I bought 2 bose revolve plus arriving at the end of the month.
I think they more suitable for sound healing music that must have clarity and pure sound.
Bought 2 so hopefully made the right decision to get more of a surround effect.

mostly bose portable home speaker sounds better but it is such a pain in the @$$ and keeps running out of battery.

Or can it be set up to where we can just call out (at anytime desired) to Alexa...to play a song or whatever. Liked the review & have subscribed. I own the mini and the revolve+ and yes the same songs sort of feel better in the +. But I’m looking for something bigger/ for a hall… any clues about the B&W Zeppelin? Btw I returned a Beolit 17 ( more expensive than and + and worse than the mini). I prefer bass biased speakers☺️
I had the Zeppelin Air and I got it for about $900 then and seriously it put me off Bowers and Wilkins forever. It used to give me electric shocks, its throughput was quite dated even even for 2012/13. I don't recommend that company. If you're looking for something for a hall, perhaps you should get an Airplay enabled speaker so that you can send music from an iOS device to multiple devices at once. If you are still interested in perservering with just one speaker, check out the Woburn series by Marshall and/or the Stanmore. The former being superior. If I had a hall, I'd have a tough time finding the right arsenal of speakers to be fair so good luck : ) And thanks for subscribing.

Between the two I recommend Bose portable home speaker.. I also think Bose is secretly getting rid of home speaker 500 unsold stock as a newer release is eminent. You know I never used the revolve strangely. Just for kicks I'll get my hands on a sound link 3 soon to see how the sound has evolved.

My portable home speaker bose drains on battery from fully charged in the off mode so it automatically drains battery when it is turned off, i reset it and still same issue
I had similar issues
Suggest using supplied charger only. Also switching off always listening mode.
@@KanwarAnand how do i do that? i have the application bose on my phone disabled hoping to see if that works and stops the batery drain
@@KanwarAnand always listening mode is not on for me when I turn it off and it is not on standby either fully off and still battery drains gradually from 100-60% in a weeks time

Both are mono I believe. I think the Soundlink Mini had stereo. Was a great speaker for 2014-15.

Not really. But I have a HomePod mini and using iphone I can connect HomePod and bose portable home speaker. And they’re both crazy loud together

Portable bose speaker leaves extra air while giving boom affect and seems bose tuned it for giving more bass affect , moving away from their USP of devices producing natural sounds.
So, Example, if you compare bose solo 5 Vs Bose TV soundbar, solo 5 gives more natural sound.
Bose should stick to better sound quality, instead boom affect ...
this is possibly the best explanation for this recent downtrend in Bose speakers. I also noticed the same in Bose HS500.
Bought revolve+ II a week back and my feedback is 360 revolve sound design is not effective ... all speakers should be more effective in one direction sound.... also, bose mini soundlink produces better sound than bose revolve+ II.
Overall bose does not stand on top anymore of companies producing audio products ...
Bose : for Home entertainment
JBL : For Parties and Events
Marshall : for string instrumental music
Sony : best of the rest

i like the revolve plus more but if you go outdoors the other speaker is way louder.
Can you pair them together to play linked in party mode?
No as app is different. You can use a samsung phone and telecast bluetooth to both but there's a fraction of a second delay sometimes among phone creating an echo but it gets the job done.

@@KanwarAnand when you turn the volume more than 50% the bass sounds like a paper I check the speaker, but no damage in both side, only the right side speaker sounds creepy..
