Hello Kripp, your stream has changed my life completely. I suffer from severe NaCl (salt) deficiency disorder. I had to visit the hospital 5 times a week for salt injections. However, watching your stream supplies me enough salt through the screen. You saved me money time and effort. I can't thank you enough. I owe u my life.
Fatigue druid vs Priest is the best hard counter EVER! Since Priest is all about card draw and stealing shit, they are totally fucked against this deck. I played one that thanked me every time I heropowered his Northshire cleric. Then apparently he was thinking that the light will burn me once he burnt 4 cards at once :P Edit: Also one had a board full of damaged minions + NS. He didnt heal anymore since he figured out that I was mill. But then I played Tree of Life and made him draw 7 cards^^
Yeah, those priests that keep falling for the obvious cleric bait are the best. I always wonder what's going through their heads when they do that and taunt, especially after seeing an explicit mill card or two like oracle.
That's funny. If he couldn't tell you were mill when you hero powered his cleric he deserved to lose. Once, shortly after Kripp's first video on this deck, I played against druid as control warrior. The moment he hero powered my acolyte I knew I had to adapt, rushing him with weapons instead of waiting to use them on minions, and I managed to win before he could heal up. I still think it was lucky that I won though.
Look at these fucking imbecils complaining cuz we are skipping the boring part of the video, and why do you even care, experienced players don't like listening to him cuz we already know a lot about those cards that he is talking about. Fuck the plebs
I doubt that they dislike the commentary of his strategy/thoughts process, it's just they want tome gameplay in the background while he's talking.. But then Kripp will have to cut out the live commentary.
when you watch his videos and his streams, you would already know what the explanation is. that's why some people skip it. some explanations are enjoyable due to some humor being included, but some are just boring. by personal experience, you would know.
HAHAHAHA YES. WHILE I AM EXCITED FOR HIM TO START MAKING DIABLO 3 VIDEOS SOON I LOVE THE HEARTHSTONE VIDEOS BECAUSE IT SHOWS YOU HOW MUCH OF THE HEAD BOBBING CASUAL BEAST HE IS.

can you share your thoughts on this: remove pyros & owl and replace with dancing swords...and a second brewmaster... the swords give early game control...they are game winners vs priests...since you can get lucky and turn one a 4.4 if you have innervate. also...with the brewmasters you can spam either healing from healbot or cold light oracle... for example..with 8 mana...you can have your opponent draw 6 cards in a turn...and if they have 8 cards in hand...they burn 5 cards...and that ruins a lot of their potential combos... COMBO: coldlight oracle (+2) > brew > oracle (+2) > naturalize (+2) (just 8 mana, or 6 mana with an innervate) I had warlocks just rage quit after burning Mal'Ganis..warriors rage quit after losing Grommash... also spamming healbots with brewmasters is great in winning against heroes like (priest, warrior)...if the board is clear... looking forward to your thoughts on this...
I really want alt win conditions to become available to more classes. That's part of what made Magic so fun and dynamic. It wasn't always about rushing faec.
when I made this deck and the only thing I changed was switched acidic swamp ooze with bite, you destroy warriors no matter what and rogue isn't all that popular, it's only really weaker against pally. At first I switched starfire out with bite but I found that you could run out of cards, it might make sense to switch my bite out with one FoN
i made my own version of this deck introducing spell damage and using swipes as well and naturalise, only jsut started playing so i'm missing some key cards still but it works quite well
Hey krip, i did myself a more or less fatigue druid too, but way more defensive, i got the combo 2x druid of claw 2x belcher, and i play with some card like loatheb and sylvanas. Turns out it's really good. If its aggro, you have stuff to deal with annoying shits for ages, if its control, just use your card wisely and know when you can mill. I also put one giant and malorne. Malorne is unfortunatly not so good, most of the time, tempo is lost if he is play and that he can be removed instat.
I've had a lot of fun running this deck a little tweaked. I only run one pyromancer, and replace the second one with a dancing blades, and then I run one each of force of nature and starfire. Just a little mixing it up to be a little more "mid-rangey" Still die hard to mech mage though.
I swapped out an iron beak and a a novice engineer from the last iteration of this deck for a clockwork and mountain giant. It gives something for the opponent to have to deal with and can be played very cheaply since cards will be in yours and the opponents hands. I was thinking about replacing the two giants with dancing swords to further push card draw on the opponent.
Just so you know, giants are a bad idea, because one idea of the deck is to have no big or "strong" cards, so the opponent many never play his removal, making it so they keep in in hand, causing better milling.
I agree with that. Its why I want I'm going to try swapping them for dancing swords. They can still use removal but they get a card back in the process.
Would Clockwork Giant work in this deck? It seems like there's a fair bit of synergy there, though I guess the point of the deck isn't really to win via minions.
You have awoken my comment from its 1 year slumber. this deck isn't a mill deck its a fatigue deck and is completely capable of going the distance against agro decks. I have successfully fatigued face hunters on multiple occasions with it.
CHOCOLATE RAIN, hobgoblin into chicken wins the game, CHOCOLATE RAIN, turn one coin in missles, Kripp is slain, CHOCOLATE RAIN, fireball the face and feel the pain, CHOCOLATE RAIN, sacrifice the raptor, all in vain, CHOCOLATE RAIN.
What is the role of the grove tender in this deck? It seems pretty weak, I am testing by replacing them by Deathlords since your opponent will end up using one extra card each.
Hey Kripp any tips on what deck to start off with for someone who is new to hearthstone (pref a priest) but wouldnt mind if u just gave me any cheap and easy deck to start or have a video already made for it that you could show me thx
I'm fairly sure fatigue mage existed before this (or at least wasn't influenced by this) and actually does a lot better in most matchups. Deathlords are THE way to gain fatigue advantage and mages obviously have the best array of board clears. Less healing is an issue sometimes, but with good draws duplicated/echoed healbots can do a lot of work, too.
The reason people use Druid is because you can instantly destroy a big threat _and_ draw them 2 cards, which is outstanding in a fatigue deck. And Druid has a shit load of heals. Druid also has the insta clear combo of poison seeds + starfall (call? one of those)
The Creator Still, fatigue mage is far more consistent and can be played on ladder at high ranks, which you can't say about druids. Naturalize is great but its just not enough.
RiV I've seen fatigue druid at high levels, under rank 5. I'm not familiar with fatigue mage, but Druid just seems so much better at outlasting. You get a free full heal, many, many different ways to heal besides that etc.
Kripparrian at 11:53 wouldn't have Pyro > Innervate > Tree of Life to make him draw like a million cards and heal yourself up to full health been a strong play? edit: nvm you literally answered it like 20 seconds later in the actual video.
One thing Kripp forgot is, that this deck is a good alternative counter to oil rogue for people who can't afford wallet warrior. It's not cheap but affordable. They love card draw so much and usually you can outheal them. Never lost a game against it with this.
What happens when you play tree of life with Soul Priest on your board? Everything is damaged by it's total missing health? Everything just dies? or nothing?
Yes, everything gets it's hp restored by their total max hp therefore everything dies, unless it is immune. To get a better idea, if Garrosh has 6 armor and 25 hp and gets auchenai into tree of life he would survive with 1 hp.
TheCombatLegend What's the etc include? The pyromancers are literally the only thing in the deck that are effected at all my silence, and from what I've seen, pyromancers aren't often considered a high priority silence target
M8 stop hating and whe nit gets to fatiuge they play it as simpely as a minion and after they play that you play malorne and alot of decks dont run silence for example oil rouge zoo mech mage etc... and if one of them does you only play it in fatouge when they have played there silence as minion!
Youthful is far too useful. Bouncing cold light is very commonly a game ender, bouncing BGH also makes the hand lock matchup possible. Ooze also has some uses as a bounce

Can admit this deck is fun, but I can't leave rank 17 with it. Always hunters and mech mages that make me lose, although I wrecked some control warriors and it was a lot of fun.
I really like the idea of decks like this but the main problem is how long the games take. Most people dont have the time to spend hours and hours on ladder each day like streams, I play about 5 games per day and if each game takes half an hour than ive just wasted 2 and a half hours. Rush decks will always be more popular.
Do you play for fun or to get higher in ranked? If you play for fun, what's the difference between playing 2 long and 5 short matches? I guess you like short matches, but that's just personal preference. You could as well say playing druid is a waste of time, because you only have so few time, so you'd rather play priest while you can.

Put in a Bloodmage Thalnos, Kripp. It gives you a card draw, and sometimes acts like a third Wild Pyro. It worked for me in January.
Would Clockwork Giant work in this deck? It seems like there's a fair bit of synergy there, though I guess the point of the deck isn't really to win via minions.
Against agrssive decks you wont get a chance to play it, they will spend most the game hovering around 3-6 cards
+Varadium_ Mill Druid against aggro decks is as useful as Suicide-Lock against aggro

isnt malorne good so its impossible to fatiuge yourself unless they have a silence
?
Most decks do run silence, and there isn't much else in the deck that's worth silencing, so Malorne would almost always end up getting silenced.
but if you play it when he has used all his/hers silences on like your pyro etc then you play it and most decks run just one silence at most 2
TheCombatLegend What's the etc include? The pyromancers are literally the only thing in the deck that are effected at all my silence, and from what I've seen, pyromancers aren't often considered a high priority silence target

but if he isnt fatuiged then you get him 9damage to the face BOOM
what about alexstra or giants for this deck? can it not work in fatigue?
but only if u aggro mill.
The idea of the deck is to not have big minions so that the opponent wastes their cards. Hence him mind controlling a 3/3
