part of the reason why the terran lost was excessive stim use during the natural siege--the marines hit stim like 4 times in 2 minutes, there was also an accidental a-click on the marine ball from a tank which drained a lot of medivac energy

Yeah! A well laid siege is hard to break! Especially if you can't get units out for a run by or a drop.
