    I dont know about you but I can't get enough of Time Team. I can see by the geophys that the views show that I'm not alone but let's see what Raksha has dug up.
    "Well as you can see here Tony this show was a hit on what was known to our ancestors as televison and as it turns out it's still a great show today even on the internet"

    I am 30 seconds into viewing and I just had to say that the videography is crystal clear and beautiful. Back to the documentary.

      Just imagine how new episodes would look with the cameras and drones and cinematography they have nowadays too bad some of the main cast has went on to dig in the great beyond in the sky

    Still after so many years i watched these series , i have never heard anything news about Carenza Lewis after the bad news. I hope she,s doing well now!
    Anyhow , i was allways attatched to the screen when time-team had a new mission! love ya!!

      She hasn't done anything in the media since 2010. Content with teaching (and probably some research work) it would seem. Lewis teaches medieval studies at Lincoln Uni.

      @Baron Von Grijffenbourg She had several unnecessary medical interventions and operations - not her fault but medical incompetence.

    I really love this series. I only wish that they'd take more than 3 days at places where there's so much more they could find. It often seems like they are missing a ton due to the tight time-frame. Leaving the rest to possibly never be discovered.

      i am sure a local archaeological society will carry on the dig? after all, when they can say -Time Team and Sir Tony were here -, some burse strings will open up?

    • @Summer_Snows
      @Summer_Snows ปีที่แล้ว

      The 3 days time limit is very short, but it works for an education program like this that also serves as a tool to see whether or not a site is worth returning to. I promise you future archaeologists will return to this site many times to find anything missed
      Modern archaeology purposefully never excavates the entirety of a site anyways, so that future archaeologists with better tools and methods than we have now can apply their skills and hopefully discover more than we thought possible

    • @joshschneider9766
      @joshschneider9766 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These digs were expensive and the time team had regular jobs alongside their work on this show.
