Why does this dude keep lowering her hands, like at 2:37 ?... It's obnoxious But thanks JS for continuing to help people progress to better lives. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
Great presentation. Very much appreciate the effort you put into preparing this presentation. I started selling on Amazon about 4 months ago. I was very much hoping for this business to succeed but did not. First, FBA fees took a large chunk of my gross sales. Second major expense is shipping from China. I even used shipping via sea. The best I could get was 10% gross margin, which only covered cost of item, shipping and FBA fees. I believe many sellers on Amazon are successful. I tried to figure out what I was doing wrong but no luck.
Hello, thank you for sharing. You mentioned attending quarterly events to stay motivated. How does one find out about Selling on Amazon conferences or events?
Question- is it better to get more products or try get first product to get to the top of first page if its been stuck at the bottom page of first page?
Tbh it’s a stretch to say Austin is a lower cost of living than California at this point. These days the housing market rivals that of the most expensive cities in the U.S. No state taxes, but the local property taxes are brutal.
Question: I would like to hear more about how you deal with not "making yourself right." With partners, friend, and family (whose opinions you value, but may not be business people). Edit: I'll try to take it to the website. Greg, thank you for this!
I don't know if you guys will see this. Q: As an entrepreneur we are forced to go with our gut, a lot. You create success by finding an opportunity, learning what you can, and jumping off the cliff - trusting yourself. I have people in my life whose opinions mean a lot to me. They are intelligent and successful in their own fields. Sometimes there is a significant amount of cognitive dissonance between the advice they give me and what I think is correct. But how can I separate the wheat from the chaff? Some of their ideas might be what takes that product to the next level or end up being the next product.
Yes I love seeing fellow PLers living a lifestyle with their hard earned money. Nothing burns me up more than people telling you how hard they work on their business only to brag about being overly frugal. Like sickenly frugal. This couple is living a nice balanced life and I love it.
Going on my 3rd year in FBA. Started out doing RA/OA, wholesale the typical route. Transitioned into PL last year when I sold my brick and mortar business. I have launched about 6 PL offerings to date. I have one trademarked and brand registry brand that I am working on in the baby category. I don't have what I would consider a "breakout" product yet. The first promising PL product I did have got banned by Amazon so I had to go back to the drawing board. I went to China last year to the Canton fair but did not know as much as I do now so I was looking with different eyes. Still a work in progress.
I LOVE learning about other couples selling on Amazon. Very inspiring and reassuring the hubby and I are doing all the right things.

Many of our clients are online sellers so we see first-hand that it's possible. Congrats to the Cohens!
That's awesome! How have your clients been doing on FBA? 😊

What did we miss? 🤨
🤣 maybe he was afraid she’d hit the mic with her hands…?
Question- is it better to get more products or try get first product to get to the top of first page if its been stuck at the bottom page of first page?
OBVIOUSLY, DO THE BOTH!
better to sell products that already sell (brand name products)
I like having my own "brand." I'm creating intangible value by, hopefully, creating brand loyalty.
I want to start business on Amazon.. which course is most useful for this please suggest

You might be right! 😆

Can you further explain what you mean? :)

Welcome to China😁
$1M in sales sounds great, but it's the profit that pays the rent. What percentage of that $1M was profit?
