Not sure how they approach things in the studio, but they give these high end guitarists some beautiful riffs to play live. And they nail them every . freaking . time.
They have had a fairly stable lineup for a while. Fan's know who the members are and they are as integral to the overall act and lore as the girls. The masks are not entirely dumb but having them on for the entire show is stupid. BOH and Takayoshi have such expressive guitar faces that add to the overall fun and excitement of the show. They could enter with the masks but lose them during a water break or before they do a featured piece.
The thing I take from this performance is that Su REALLY likes this song. The expressions on her face from around 2:30-2:34 speak to this. She has mentioned this song in interviews, saying how the song somehow represents the adult Su and how cute she finds the choreography. I don't get the first part. I'm slowly moving from tolerating this song to accepting it...

Lots of singing to a track in this concert but she is singing against her own voice harmonys. I think it's great. Road of Resistance sounds so much better with the harmony.
Sound mixing is all over the place, i wonder did they add some vocals to the video afterwards because guitars are smashing everything.. but yes this happens on festivals very commonly. Hardcore and fresh show from BM anyway =)
Babymetal has always played live to a tape. This is nothing new. There has always been keyboards or vocals on a tape mixed in with their live performances.
@ElPrimoKyle Nope. It was the East Kami Band in here. You can easily identify them with their gears. BOH is using his signature Atelier 6 string bass, Ohmura using Pink-chan, Leda using his white 8 string guitar, and the easiest way to identify if which of Hideki or Barone is playing, Hideki uses black gloves while playing while Barone doesn't wear gloves. You can also recognize the East and West Kami Band members by looking at their forearms. East Kami Band tends to have more slender arms while the West Kami Band have more buffed arms. :)

arguably , one of the most underrated bands ever. Despite their accolades, they do not get the credit they deserve. They rank with Rush , Primus,Cannibal Corpse, MSI, Jane's addiction, and I could keep going. But, THEY WILL BE THE FIRST ORIGINAL JAPANEES ACT IN THE AMERICAN AND ENGLAND ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME BY 2030-2040... I bet an organ on it.

この曲もポップでソリッドでカッコいい！また、この神々しいヴォーカルも素晴らしい！この子本物だよね。すごいなベビメタ。
ダークサイドの時この曲全然いいと思わなかったが3人になって聞けるようになった。やっぱりSuを中心にトライアングルの頂点にそれぞれの主役がいることで安定性と引き締まり感がでて、曲もよくなった感じがする。それだけにBABYMETALにとってはダンスと3人のトライアングル形式が重要って事だね。
そうそう、3人のバランスが崩れているときは曲がベビメタに合わず滑ってると思った。今は新時代の幕開けにふさわしいという印象。
Elevator Girl 実は結構好きやねん
べビメタで初めてグラストンベリー知ったけど日本のパワースポット探してたら世界編に街が凄いパワースポットらしくてべビメタはきっと呼び寄せられたんじゃないかとおもう。
しかし、何回観てもいいなー
最初は、ヘビメタ+アイドルなんてスゴイ組み合わせだと懐疑的だったけど、この演奏に、この歌唱力に、このダンスに、この可愛いらしさと綺麗さが加わるんだから人気出ない方がおかしいよな。こんだけ世界に認められてるのに、日本でイマイチなのが変な感じ。
むしろ外人から見ればもっと変な感じなんだろうね。

去年アメリカで初披露したときよりもギターアレンジがカッコよくなってるし、聴く度によくなるスルメ曲。
すごいね、こんなでかいアウェーな会場で全員プレッシャー無くニコニコしながら嬉しそうに余裕でパフォーマンスしている。ワールドツアーの修行でもう何があっても動じない不動の精神と自信を得たようだ。凄すぎてあきれてしまうゾイ。
