- Come with us on our latest instalment of our Tuscan series! In this video, we leave behind Colle Val’Delsa for our last hike along the via Francigena culminating in finally visiting the excellent fortified village of Monteriggioni. Working in the dark to save the light ;)
Da adolescente son vissuto a Siena per tre anni e vi ho lasciato il cuore, ma Monteriggioni mi ha sempre affascinato. Quanti ricordi che, ora, a 76 anni si riaffacciano alla mente. Un Emiliano DOP!😊
Awww thanks so much for watching. Glad you could see it again!
Honestly I’m surprised how big the town is compared to how it’s depicted in AC2. I find that rare to come across nowadays, thought visiting the actual location would be amazing to experience.
I thought the same!
It really is amazing. I hope you can check it out.
Wonderful! I haven’t heard of this place before but now it’s on my list of course. Thank you for sharing. Keep it up. ❤
Thanks so much! :D
Ben the Boastful? Nah…needs to be workshopped. 😂 This Italy series was excellent. What a great journey and lifetime memory for you guys. Quite envious of the food and looking forward to that video!! Enjoy Crete and we’ll see you again soon! Rob
Lol. Thanks so much! :)
Camille: 'I have never been more offended in my life'.
Well…I suppose she does know you just a bit better than I! 😂 Guess we better defer to her better judgment. 😊

I'm planning a trip to Monteriggioni in early October, and I'd love to try that pasta dish you said would be in the "Grand Italian Food Tour" video. However, I can't find the video on your TH-cam channel. Could you give me the name of the restaurant so I can check it out, please?
I love that you always find a cat❤
hahah we do too lol
I want to go here one day. I saw this place in AC2 too. You forgot to jump on the buildings and run around and run into pedestrians
lol will do next time!
Visiting here was a dream of mine for years! Hope you can make it.
thats what i did! i am no longer welcome to Italy now.....then again i did steal a horse
@@8BitCristopolis did you pull a dude off of his horse????
Hello..your food in Munich video was so nice. Any idea where can I get Swedish princess cake in Munich??
I don't know if I've ever seen any. :O
Thank you for the upload! At the end of March, I will fulfill my dream and travel to Florence. I also plan a day trip to Monteriggioni. However, I'm afraid that I might have seen everything on-site after 2 hours. How much time would you recommend? And isn't it worth hiking in the surroundings? Do you have any tips for beautiful places? Unfortunately, I cannot access a car, so I am traveling by bus or on foot... Greetings to all Ezio fans!
I think you will probably see everything after 2 hours. It is very small. I'm sure there is hiking in the area, but I do now know of any resources unfortunately. I'm sure there is a niche website or guide or tourism board that will have some information. We also covered a couple other towns in the area. You could take a bus to San Gimignano, or San Miniato, or even the nature park at Colle de Val de Elsa. I have linked the videos below!
