Crochet Succulent In a Pot

  • Hey everyone, This week I made this super adorable succulent. It came out bigger than I wanted to but it was a ton of fun to make. I will be including a written pattern if you would like to make it to, thank you for watching let me know what I should crochet next.

    Crochet Succulent In A Pot
    Hook- 4mm
    Yarn- Medium weight Category 4
    Finished Product size
    Pot- 3 inches tall and a 5 inch circumference
    Large leaf- 2.5 inches long
    Medium leaf- 2.5 inches long
    Small leaf- 1.5 inches long
    Fully assembled- about 5 inches tall
    Stitches
    Sc-Singles crochet
    Dc-Double crochet
    BLO- Back Loop Only
    FLO- Front Loop Only
    Decrease- Two Stitches together
    MAKING THE POT
    Start with making a Magic Ring
    Row 1 - 8sc into ring (8)
    Row 2 - 2sc into every Stitch (16)
    Row 3 - 1sc then 2sc into next alternating (24)
    Row 4 - 2sc then 2sc in one stitch alternating (32)
    Row 5 - 3sc then 2sc in one stitch alternating (40)
    Row 6 - 2sc then 2sc in one the 2sc alternating (48)
    Row 7 - BLO 48sc (48)
    Row 8-17 - 48sc (48)
    Row 18 - 48dc (48)
    Row 19 - FLO 48dc (48)
    Fold over and weave in your tails
    FILLING THE DIRT
    attach yarn with a slip stitch
    Row 1 - 48sc (48)
    Row 2 - 4sc then decrease alternating (40)
    Row 3 - 3sc then decrease alternating (32)
    FILL THE POT WITH STUFFING
    Row 4 - 2sc then decrease alternating (24)
    Row 5 - 1sc then decrease alternating (16)
    Row 6 - Decrease (8)
    Weave in your tail
    LARGE LEAF
    Make a magic ring
    Row 1 - 4sc (4)
    Row 2 - 2sc in each stitch (8)
    Row 3 - 1sc then 2sc in one alternating (12)
    Row 4 - 1sc then 2sc in one then 1sc alternating (16)
    Row 5-10 16sc (16)
    Row 11 - 1sc then decrease then 1sc alternating (12)
    Row 12 - 1sc then decrease (8)
    Flatten leaf and weave in your tails closing off the bottom of leaf
    MEDIUM LEAF
    Make a magic ring
    Row 1 - 4sc (4)
    Row 2 - 2sc in one stitch (8)
    Row 3 - 1sc then 2sc in one alternating (12)
    Row 4-9 - 12sc (12)
    Row 10 - 1sc then decrease alternating (8)
    Row 11 - decrease (4)
    Flatten leaf and weave in your tails closing off the bottom of leaf
    SMALL LEAF
    Make a magic ring
    Row 1 - 4sc (4)
    Row 2 - 2sc in each stitch (8)
    Row 3-5 - 8sc in each stitch (8)
    Row 6 - decrease (4)
    Flatten leaf and weave in your tails closing off the bottom of leaf
    I pre placed my large leafs with a stitch marker to find the right placement, then I stitched them in place.
