I live in Memphis, TN and people really support her here because our city doesn’t get many black stars and positive reinforcement like a city like Nashville or Atlanta. They love her music here, I always hear one of songs blasting from a car radio riding down the street. I haven’t listened to much of her music otherwise and the only LHH spin-off I’ve seen was Miama - specifically for Amara La Negra cause I heard she had some good points. These shows really ruin a lot of artists by depending on them to ooze negativity everywhere, and the fact that they’re usually black is offensive to me. White women get to be angry housewives but all the black women have to be constantly arguing with baby daddies and try to con an “ain’t shit” Black man into caring about them. There are exceptions, but all of that is just more and more negative perception reinforcement for already rampant stereotypes. Not to mention, the more you watch it the more short tempered you get - you will start to mimic the way these people jump into fights and even the way they “sit people down to talk”. Even if you aren’t impulsive then you definitely find yourself bothered by small things. Just be careful

I don't feel sorry for her because her attitude SUCKS. Look at how she did her friends, Elle Varner, Jonathan, and other people like Lil Kim. The way she came at Lyrica was rude and immature. I live in Memphis, TN and people really support her here because our city doesn’t get many black stars and positive reinforcement like a city like Nashville or Atlanta. They love her music here, I always hear one of songs blasting from a car radio riding down the street. I haven’t listened to much of her music otherwise and the only LHH spin-off I’ve seen was Miama - specifically for Amara La Negra cause I heard she had some good points. These shows really ruin a lot of artists by depending on them to ooze negativity everywhere, and the fact that they’re usually black is offensive to me.
White women get to be angry housewives but all the black women have to be constantly arguing with baby daddies and try to con an “ain’t shit” Black man into caring about them. There are exceptions, but all of that is just more and more negative perception reinforcement for already rampant stereotypes. Not to mention, the more you watch it the more short tempered you get - you will start to mimic the way these people jump into fights and even the way they “sit people down to talk”. Even if you aren’t impulsive then you definitely find yourself bothered by small things. Just be careful
