One thing I did immediately to my bike was put on the Thrashin’ 9.5 inch risers. I’m about your height as well and these risers fit me perfectly. That combined with a saddlemen step up works perfectly! Just something to consider. Ride safe man!

      Nice!
I plan to the same! All these parts are so pricey
      Expensive hobby

      Thanks so much TY
It really is the perfect bike for me.
Sportsters we’re too small and baggers too big

    Cool video.
First thing I did to mine was the forward controls and seat.
    I'm 5 11' made the difference.
I agree with everything you said.
The bike is great. I'm waiting on a set of leather pro saddlebags, those clam shell bags are for me...

Good Bike! I have Harley Roadster right now, and this is what I am eyeing on. Ride safe and ride on.

The only thing with forward controls i feel like it takes away from the flick ability of the bike.

Thrashin mid bends and 9.5 riser with pullback is what I run on my st. You won't be disappointed man

Good job. I would go for the bunt king crash bar rather than foward controls. Thanks for sharing.

i'm of the opinion that you don't need a 500 mile break-in period. i do like 50 miles and that's plenty. modern bikes are more resilient. haven't had an issue in a decade and a half. 3 different new bikes (sportster -> dyna -> softtail) and never had an issue.

The only thing I thought about doing to mine is pull out the baffle and shorten it about 6 inches and put it back in to get alittle more rumble.
