The transmission short-shifts too early! There is something wrong with it. It should maintain 1st & 2nd gears at least as high as 6500 RPM to achieve around 8.5 s 0-100 km/h.

@@leivabernie This is only 33 years old! A healthy transmission can perform well even if it is 60 years old. Watch videos of other Mercedes models which perform much better than this.

That's just the real Mercedes Benz for you . They are not made like this anymore. This was no nonsense, no plastic parts inside the engine, no over designed plastic crap all over the outside. I never had a Benz. But I sure do like the old ones...

Isn’t the 3.0 only like 180hp as I have a 95 E320 coupe and the 3.2 is 220hp
It's the 24 valve (4 valves per cyl) version. The 180 HP 3L engine is the 12 valve (2 valves per cyl) version.
The engine is kaput definetly, should be like 7-8 sec 0-100
No fucking away, even is new it cannot reach these figures.

@@Enko063300-24 Valve are faster than regular 300-12 valve or 320, so with healty engine and trans, 7.5 to 8 second are achievable.

@@Enko063 probably 8.5 to 9 sec are more realistic figure, as most auto trans in high mileage merc are pron to slipping like crazy or too early to shift like in video, because 300-24 had more rev and power than regular 300e 12V or e320e, my previous car are 300e 12V 5MT 0-100 around mid 9 to 10 sec.

Well it's NA, and it only has 220 HP at 6400 RPM. Takes a lot of time to reach that without forced induction. But yeah, the transmission is likely bust, it shifts before you can make max power, resulting in something like 150-160HP most likely.
