i feel like kpop is v exhausting sometimes bc they really try to replicate black r&b music a lot and it always be sounding goofy!! aside from bts ive never heard an original r&b sound from a group but newjeans do it well, they sound authentic like its not just some concept. from the music and the lyrics you can tell they grew up listening to that stuff which reflects in their music. theyre really young and killing it rn so im exciited to see their success. yall should react to hype boy - performance mv by newjeans

Side B is out so I hope you guys reacted to it to get more of the story. I suggest you check out their debut song Attention. Many seem to like the vibe to that song too, and Hype Boy.
