- A Russian deputy commander has told news agency TASS that the army had "almost liberated Krasnohorivka in Donetsk region." He added that soon the city will be under Russian control. Meanwhile, a video has emerged from the Kharkiv region showing Russia TOS-1A MLRS (flamethrowers) unleashing fire on Ukrainian positions. The Russian defence ministry has also released a video showing an FPV drone attack on an U.S.-made armoured vehicle along the frontline. The video shows the vehicle turning fireball after the attack. Watch.

Where the Donbas region's concerned, Russia's gone past the critical tilting point. It can hence get and control any part of it without a whole lot of military resistance. The local population here is generally not averse to falling under Russian jurisdiction, which is tremendously helpful.
