Me in hell describing my daily meal to the peasant glutton who ate a single crust of Brad more than he should:
Oui, chef.
There are some very skilled clever chefs comng through into the industry....these chefs are kicking some of the chefs with a comfortble seat, right up their behind. It's no bad thing to have your ass kicked. It may be uncomfortable....but it should inspire you to improve your game...or step aside. That is life!!
Surprise of crispy onions ?? lol
The portions are huge compared to some of the US cooking shows.
Peas n broad beans ,,,,Nah ,give me Lobster any day
Who’s the black food critic? I’ve never seen him before but I haven’t watched Masterchef for years now so out the loop.
Jimmy Famurewa
Or something close to that, sorry he has a very tricky last name 😂
Snails?!?
Blame the french🤣
Bugs me they don't even get the door for the contestants , pompous much...
Prefer this show to the aussie one...im an aussie
The UK masterchef is so much better than the US one. - a yank.
I'd say most competition shows are far better in the UK. They don't (as a rule) edit them for interpersonal drama.
Something that makes MasterChef UK so enjoyable is how positive the critics are, even when giving negative feedback. You can feel that they truly love and appreciate food, and the hard work these chefs put in.
yes! A lot of Americanised tv is just Drama, shouting and being horribly mean for no reason
I love this! They plated everything so beautifully! 😍
A lot of folks say you know if someone's a good chef from how they make their scrambled eggs, but I often find the same to be true about how they make their risotto.
You test a cook with eggs, and a chef with rice. At least that's been my experience!
Here's me, eating a pack of biscuits
My question is do critics can cook and deliver best food????!
They did a critics challenge for Xmas last year. Jay Rayner did incredibly well and won that, but Jimi and William actually weren’t horrible
Those are some cracking good dishes and i think that lobster is a 3 star Michelin dish.
"That'll be 500$ and your firstborn."
I’m salivating
Where's Amol? I wanted to see how not to hold utensils...
@Masterchef UK please put the episode details in the description
Greg is an easy target but he knows his food and he has excellent critiques
amazing standard from both chefs - well done
Someone watched Guga's video on it.
Love to try that Watercress Rissotto
Looks stunning
Lardo 😂😂😂
Nobody: How pretentiousness do you wanna be? Food critics: Yes
Ya they really are peak pretentious people.
Pretentious*
Wow those dishes were incredible I absolutely want to try to make them myself
Both looked great.
Especially that onion puree.... sounds divine.
What season is this ?
seems very strange that Marcus Wareing has not seen a pipette used in food prep
Of course he has. The producer told him to ask so that he can be a stand in for the viewer.
That lobster dish looked absurd....
Green gunk in pipettes sticking out of it.
That's what you get when chefs go mental !
🦞🦞🦞🦞🤪
Love it.
I’d rather have a bowl of my mother’s soup made with beef shin marrow bone soup has been keeping the hard working class alive forever.
The show is so much better without Gregg Wallace !
Totally agree,
Couldn’t agree more
“Oooooo custard”
Bang on I can’t watch it with him in it.
What? You don't like it when an unqualified critic calls lamb pwopper pwopper lovely?
marcus mid life crises mullet
Hey, Marcus is cute for us older girls 👍
The show ISN’T the same without Gregg Wallace !
Agreed, its far better without that mountebank and top charlatan who is most certainly not a chef, but has gleaned all his culinary 'comments' from masters, he's like a golf caddy, should have stuck to green grocery...
@@timothywilliams4089Very harsh. Qualified rugby coach so you better not mess with him.
@@edwardmorgan5373 Harsh, but true; qualified rugby coach?,....hard to believe unless it was kids touch rugby, however, I actually played at senior level both in Wales and Glos; he knows as much about food/ chef techniques as my arse knows about snipe shooting.
@@timothywilliams4089that is an eloquent reprimand 😂
Bonus points for use of “mountebank” 👌🏻
@@timothywilliams4089 - Right! Played rugby at a senior level both in Wales and Glos. Sure you did! Next thing you'll tell us you run a Michelin-starred restaurant in your spare time!
be nicer if it was hot
In England, a fillet of beef is called kebab.
What this opsestion with Pure Rays
The have.they no imagination
Mash potato and pure rays no imagination all smooth textures
'pure rays' LMAO
@@JohnnyTightIipsYeah, that comment took some decoding 😆
Man the DEI chefs are annoying
Oh... You mean anyone black doesn't deserve their jobs.... How racist of you. Glad you outed yourself.
This is how food should look ? Bollocks ! Pretentious art it maybe , but I´d like my dinner looking somewhat more " normal".
But its not making your dinner is it you sad pillock
The world of bollocks
What a waste of food. Just the lobster, cooked in water and you are done, same for the meat, just cook the meat and eat it. All that extra crap adds absolutely nothing. I once visited a restaurant like this, payed a ridiculous amount of money for nothing, by the time the third dish came around, I was still hungry and walked out.
Mouth is watering ❤
