    I've just discovered your channel and it's already my top favourite channel of all time❤ I love that it's solely focused on 3d-holograms and other cool and unique types of displays

      Thank you for saying that! Sometimes I wonder what else I can do reach people interested in all of this. I will keep going and stick to 3d display tech as my main focus!

    Yes, I can't wait. After seeing the SpatialLabs 3D, I knew it was something better than before. Now we just have to get it in the regular person's hands at an affordable price. So, I'll probably be the third wave adopter.

      Me too! So excited to finally be able, for the first time ever to have a fully portable high resolution 3D smartphone. I really think it will be a game changer. Definitely will be making a lot of content and videos about it

    Always been a nerd for 3d. I dont just like the feel of something popping out the screen but love the thought of the screen as a window into a new world, feeling like it's a portal to another realm or universe i hated cinema 3d as i never felt any impact from it i couldnt afford the then consumer tvs. About 5 years ago i bought a portable projector that had 3d capability but never had any movies to watch on it that was 3d and only used the 3d mode using basic youtube 3d vids i always only really used 3d in my oculus rift dk2 n quest 2 but what i really want is a relatively large tv that gives me a portal into my games i would like a leia tab but i have other commitments like a family that come first but as soon as a nice big tv has new 3d functionality it will be at the top of my tech list

    I'm excited for 3D smartphones, but the Pro models need to come equipped with the best 3D cameras they can fit in there. 🙂

      Exactly! I would be willing to pay more for sure to have a 3D camera that matches the quality of 2D photos taken on the latest smartphones

    So you think the acer spatiallabs tech is based on leia tech? Interested in funding out the difference between spatiallabs and samsung monitor they showed at ces....long time 3d vision user, hardware can be great but if no software support it will flop. Acer seems to putting in the effort as they have supported games.... samsung claims you can play any games in 3d... hard to believe but also heard of some companies useing Ai to convert games into 3d... what do you think? Really wanna buy the spatiallabs view 27

      @josh_3D  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Leia bought out the company that made the display tech for ACER, so now it belongs to them. And it sounds like they are going to take that tech and implement iment it in as many types of products as they can. I read a different article on CES that tried gaming on the Samsung monitor and the ACER monitor, and the conclusion was that the ACER monitor delivered a much more refined smoother 3D experience with less artifact than Samsung. Sounded like they didn't like the Samsung demo, but after trying the ACER one were blown away. About the AI part, I have a spatial labs laptop by ACER, and it actual can convert any game to 3D in real time. I've tried Assassin's Creed Origins, Spider Man Miles Morales and a few others. The results range from awesome, to choppy/unstable. But it is still super cool to be able to play any game that hasn't even gotten true 3D support yet in 3D. Gaming on the spatial labs laptop is the coolest gaming experience I've ever had, so In my opinion the monitor would be totally worth it, and it also supports 2D-3D conversion of photos, videos and games

    Its all about resolution. You need at least 4k displays to make 3d acceptable as that gives standard 1980 horizontal pixels for each image. This is the standard people have been seeing images in fir years now. Less than that and oeople instincivelt turn their noses up. Also lenticular printing is so expensive, or very low qualiy it makes stills almost impossible to offer to the market. We need a better infrastructure for this to be adopted and 1440 displays simply wont cut it.

      You have a point, but I actually think it’s really really close. Close enough where it’s just enough to get things started and push 3D to catch on in smartphones. But it will be super interesting to see how people react once it actually launches
