    Thanks sandip. But need small clarification. Yes I have seen the source system property @staging table creation. Assume we have one landing table for 5 source s/ms. and 5 staging tables. How would the mapping design from landing table to staging tables. How it differentiate from landing table?. My landing table doesn't have any column which explains the source system.(take lnd_client table as an example). Hope my question is not confusing. Is MDM creates 5 mappings automatically?If yes, which column decides to load respective staging table for 5 source s/ms. Please assist me.

    thnk yu :) very useful.. How the landing table structure created in MDM gets reflected in the oracle database??

      MDM Hub console is created on top of database (such as Oracle, DB2 etc). We register ORS (Operation reference stroe) in MDM Hub. i.e. we are getting connection to database (e.g. Oracle). Once we get connection, whatever tables we create in Hub console, automatically get created in database. The structure of tables such as system column is already defined by Informatica. We can add one or more custom column to Landing or Base Object table and accordingly it is get created in database.
      I hope this answers your question, if you need any further clarification then let me know.

    Hi Sandip. video is really superb.
    I have one scenario. If I have 5 source system. Can I use single landing table-single staging table.
    Your video says that staging should be 5 tables. What will happen if I use single staging table for 5 source systems?. Please assist me.

      You can create one landing for 5 source systems. But it is not possible with staging table. We cannot create one staging table for 5 source system because while creating staging table we have to select only one source system.

    if we want add one more source system during load job is get any reflected in batch process ?

      No. It is not reflected during batch job. You need to created stage table corresponding to each source system. e.g. If you add new source system, create staging table for it. Once it is created, corresponding job will be created in batch viewer.

    what are the staging table constraints properties and you should be explain about them briefly ?

      The basic rowid_object, source_system these are important columns. Along with other system column have inbuilt constraints. If you want to add constraint as per your business need you can add for custom columns.

    No need to add base object and landing table corresponding staging table?

    • @sandipm
      @sandipm  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Staging table is sub set of Base Object table. Staging table does not exist without Base Object table. In order to create staging table, we need to have Base Object table.

    What is the sequence of table creation.. Base table, Landing table and staging table or staging table then landing table

    • @sandipm
      @sandipm  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Normally we create landing table first then base object an staging table.
