@@TheSanityMachine33 i finished it quite quickly...maybe 2 months. I can't really say what it smelt like, I'm no good at that but it had the same effect as the original Gucci pour homme that was discontinued in 2012. Amazing fragrance.
I got this fragrance earlier this year and AGREE! I love this. Great quality and performance. I love Issey Miyake and this is a masterpiece from the house. Hard to find but worth it. Thanks for bringing the spotlight on this one Max.
Another great content Max, and I live in Southern California so far I have been to several TJ Maxx and Marshalls and so far I haven't seen any of them. Best Issey Miyake EVER! Just wish it performed better, but it’s a good performer. Got the sample and oh boy , I fell in love. It’s a Japanese equivalent of Soul by CoSTUME National but sweet. Found another choice of a signature scent!
Max just received. Hate to say it but I prefer Pulse of the Night over this one IMHO!! Love your reviews. Keep em coming.
Probably the best bottle in the line too. This one and Sport. Great bottle, great juice and a great atomizer. What's not to love?

So glad you’re reviewing this one. I thoroughly enjoy noir absolute it was not easy to get, as it was limited originally to Harrods London. I have heard they might re- release this. If so I would certainly grab a back up bottle. Issey Miyake has done a few I was drawn to and one or two summer editions, but noir absolute is warm enticing and comforting like liquid cashmere. It is quite easily my favorite from the house..............Super review as usual. Happy holidays Max and to all.

Arabian oud Kalemat is an alternative
I got this fragrance last year and I love it.
I can confirm every words you said about it. Smells amazing and can't keep smelling it. Longevity is about 8-10 hours or sometimes even more. I get up in the morning and I still smell it on my skin. I've got just a decant but I smell it in 2meters radius. It stucks in your nose and stays there for a long time. Long story short best smelling scent I've ever bought. It hynotizes me!:)
My fragrances stash is nothing but Isseys (and I made sure they were authentic) As what one of the comments stated "I'm a devotee of this fragrance"

Just received my bottle this morning. Wow what a belting Frag. Got mine for just under £55 for 100ml. Totally agree definitely more Niche IMO. Issey Miyake definitely do some great flankers.👍👍

Please do more from Issey, the original por homme was my signature scent all the way through my 20's and I generally keep a bottle for old times sake. I'd be interested in seeing some of their new releases.
Its also a stunning layer for oud (oil) based fragrances. I have created my own signature blends this way.
The original L'eau D'Issey is super popular in Brazil, I don't know why this one is not avaiable here. Sounds similar to Montblanc Legend Night.

Went to my local marshalls, no joy, will visit 2 more in my city tomorrow, I did come across 2 Tom Fords For Men and a bunch of issey miyake l'eau d'issey at my local tj Maxx, plus the usual generic colognes, tom fords went for $55 and the miyakes for $29, I live in Austin TX.
Found one at Marshals the other day.
I was truly surprised to find it!

Now I'm really about to walk into a couple of Marshalls to see. Because finding them online is impossible
smells like caramel coffee or cotton candy. Warm/Rich/Addictive from the house of Zara is very reminisent of Ombre Noir to my nose.

What is the difference between Noir Amber and Amber Noir? Are they the same products? I bought an Amber Noir from a shop of Yves Rocher.
Try reviewing CK amber gold and Davidoff Agar Blend both great perfumes with good performance!

I have a very big concern and I’m hoping you can answer my question
The problem i have is, first day i was in love with aventus smell also Prada l’homme smell, but suddenly, after few days, I couldn’t smell them anymore, like I could smell them but not the entire perfume I mainly smell like burned version of those perfume and i got them few days ago so they are not expired, i want to mention that i smelled so many perfumes in the last week maybe that’s the reason not sure.
However i can still completely smell and enjoy D&G the one, Dior sauvage, but on the other side prada aventus suddenly started to not smell good to my nose this is so weird.
Please help lol
it is nowhere to be found but I found it with a private individual it wants to sell it to me 125euro I find the price high.. what you think ??? it is worth this price ??? please answer

I can see some similarities however ambre nuit is sweeter and has a amped rose note.

Noir Ambre is fantastic. It’s like CH Men Privé but WAY better. Better performing, creamier, smoother, slightly sweeter.

I think it deserves the hype it’s getting and I think it’s right to be spoken about as ‘Niche Territory’. It’s a huge departure from the typical Issey offerings, really good longevity, gorgeous dry-down and just the right amount of sillage to turn heads.
I got a decant recently. It was immediate love. It’s 100% my next full bottle buy.
I really want a bottle of this but its pretty expensive right now....is it worth the 100- 120$ price tag?
I'd say 100-125 yes anything above no way - try to get it discounted or a partial if you can, but it is on the hard to find end of the spectrum and I'm glad I found a bottle, super-solid fragrance!

I worked for shiseido who own the Miyake licence , for the launch of Or encen. It was just one year after the launch of noir Ambré and it was already really hard to make a hand on it. Soooo rare. I walked everyday after the brief for noir Ambré at the Miyake marketing offices to ask if they had a bottle lef in ine random storage. Nothing. I ended buy it during a trip at dubai 2 years later and now it's almost at the end and I can't find it anywhere. So if someone know where I can buy it, please let me know down bellow 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I got a sample of it today and my first impression was that I don't know what to think of this cause on the one hand it's pretty good but on the other it is kinda weird.. But after the dry down I like this one more and I asked my sister on her opinion and she said it's good but it smells a bit like a female fragrance.. I don't agree with her but ok.. I would test it before because maybe you don't like this one..

I tried this at duty free on four occasions. I just couldn't like it.
I bought it last month I'm in Australia and the website is also in Australia 'feelingsexy.com.au' on a cheap price too. But do check it out because sometimes their fragrances are sold out. I love it.

Went on the hype and bought it at a online discounter. Bad, bad blind buy. Horrible. I am trying to get rid of it because I can't stand it. On me, this is just a disgusting burnt plastic smell. Not warm, not cozy, not sexy. It's repulsive actually.
