A Very underrated band. Novembers dOom has been doing and producing doom metal killer tracks for 3 decades now and people are still ignorant of them. One cannot simply become a fan of this type of music without knowing them. Novembers dOom, Saturnus, My dying Bride, Katatonia, St. Vitus, Cathedral are the greatest doom metal bands of all time!
Hell yes! And you know why? Those ppl are simply too young. The gen. 40+ does know all of these, and love these bands. I know all of them, since their early days...and don't forget Evoken, Shape of Despair, Solitude Aeturnus, Candlemass, Cathedral, October Tide.
Without a doubt Paul is one of the best vocalists in metal. Awesome clean vocals, but AMAZING death metal growls. Full, menacing, demonic but CLEAR. I can easily understand what he's saying and it amazes me that his death growls can be so clear, focused and easy to understand but yet still un-human as hell. Paul, you have one HELL of a gift for vocals man!
1. Into Nights Requiem Infernal (00:00) 2. Harvest Scythe (05:00) 3. Just Breathe (11:00) 4. Bled White (18:50) 5. What Could Have Been (26:40) 6. Rain (33:30) 7. Heartfelt (38:30) 8. The Pale Haunt Departure (45:55)
It was nearly impossible to wake early enough to see Novembers Doom in the morning after all that liters of Belgium beer in the day before (and every other day in Graspop lol). But Anneke... what a surprise that paid for everything!
Holu fuck! I haven't followed up with the band in a while. Paul is unrecognizable...So happy for him. Hope it has worked wonders for his health issues. Selfishly, I need more Doom for years to come, but being a father, I also hope it gives him many more years with Rhiannon.
Goshh, look at that audience! I know it's not Alestorm-type of music, but you can at least show that you're still alive, huh? As an Eastern European, I'd kill for the privilege to attend one of their concerts and will definitely fight for the front row, while those guys are just standing there, patiently waiting for the show to be over. This is one of my favourite bands, but the crowd completely ruined my experience of watching the video
I was there in the front row. And if my memory is correct the band was playing really early on that very warm day, i had a huge hangover (and i think many there were) from partying the night before. This was a great show to wake up to.
@@xevl yep, they started at 12 PM. Funny fact is that Alestorm really played right at the same time on the main stage, so it's possible that all the circle pit fans just went there.
Yeah, one needs balls of steel to sing with her, specially the average doom/death singer who isnt very good, anneke just beats anything that is close to her. Kudos for him.
I was there. I remember that there where not many people that show. Good for me so i can enjoy the show. But they deserve more. Dont know how it now is. I have not seem them since.

His growling abilities to sing lyrically is very special! The power of this band never fades..

Great show and Anneke is incredible!

I was saying to myself,Nobody could copycat a voice like His,180lbs is a lot of weight,Congrats!!!
Its been awhile since seeing pictures of paul khur I am just seeing this and thinking "thats really him?" Some time here I got to buy the new cd
Best doom/death band ever!!
Not the best, but a really good one.
@@_DiskoDieter you could make a pretty solid argument for them as the best imo, been around for ages and all their albums are high quality
OMG< Paul Kuhr, how he managed to loose so much weight, he looks PIMPilicious now! in What Could Have Been videoclip he was as big as truck
I was wondering if he was the same man. But I recognize his voice
He had no choice. ...an unhappy soul...changed many negatives in his life.....
Anneke
this dudes like the american mikael akerfeldt
I need to lay off this stuff and drop the pipe... if I lose that much weight that quick I'll be six feet in the ground! O_o
Either the mix was too focussed or the crowd too tired. Tight set!
What's the name of the first song?
into nights requiem infernal
♥
Its the same guy in the vocals?!
Bruno Tonelo ye
What is the pedal that the singer uses ?
He's using a TC Electronic multi-effect pedal so he can control his own reverb and delay. Soundmen rarely get it right so he controls it all himself.
yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah
sp paul lost some hundreds pounds, the voice is a bit less deep, and this is a very good record/
Novembers doom fuckin rules
❤️
