Hi Stuart. Installing the sump guard was a snap. Just followed your video, and as always, it was as easy as you made it look. I just love it, and all of my buddies here in Niagara Falls Canada are quite envious. Thank you.
Masterful, Sir. Particularly assiduous preparation and attention to fitting detail, to hedge against corrosion. Marvellous. Kind regards, and all the best.
Hello Mr Cotti! yes i didn't realise but apparently the design T and Pistons was taken from an old Meriden factory Bonneville manual from the late 50s!
Another cracking video Stuart. Great detail and some excellent camera shots. I'd been looking at the Baak sump guard but may need to rethink my strategy! Very best Sir!
Hey up Paul yeah it was a bit tight under the bike and i did struggle to get the shots! it is an interesting design on the sump guard, i didn't realise until after producing the video that the T and piston design was actually inspired by the engraving on the cover of all the early Triumph factory manuals! You have a great Christmas!
Sump cover looks nice; I do rather like that engraving on it. Does it extend over (or under) the oil filter? Looks like you'd have to pull the cover to do an oil change anyway, with where the drain plug is on the Bonnie. I'm curious as mine has developed an oil drip (how traditional!) from the neutral switch, which I've not succeeded in curing yet despite a couple of attempts. BTW, the newbonneville.com site has several options for decorative covers for that ugly clutch actuator; kit includes an accordion tube that fits over the exposed cable, and a cover that fits over the actuator and fixes with a couple of set screws. I mounted a fluted, polished one with the Union (or Union Jack if you prefer) engraved on it, looks much better than stock and doesn't cost much at all. (Maybe I'm incorrect on this, or perhaps it's just a popular colloquialism, but I'd heard the flag's proper name is simply the "Union", properly called "Union Jack" when mounted to a jackstaff, as on a ship.)
It stops just short of the filter, apparently the design for the engraving was taken from an old 1950s Triumph factory manual cover! thanks for watching!
Hello Stuart,, great looking gear from motone, but still waiting for them to restock the engine oil filler cap ( silver billet ) fancy flogging yours 😂
Interesting stuff on the older generation of Bonnevilles! Is your bike carbureted as my Thruxton is; if so I'll look forward to this aspect of adjustments too.
I'm afraid not sir she's a 2010 EFI model but stick around for the whole series hopefully there will still be much of interest here for you! thanks for watching!
Hi Stuart I do like the gear leaver ,I find my gear leaver on my 2017 t 100 like yours a bit long to . Will this leaver fit the later model ( ie ) Bonneville 100/120 . Just one more thing. ! Merry Christmas and a happy new year to come on the bike Regards Paul .

Hi Stuart great vid when you fitted this guard did it effect the way you use your sealey mc4500 lift? I mean does the guard get in the way at all?regards Robbie
"Stress and fatigue can become an issue around your ankle muscles"! Can anyone else smell bullshit? By the way, I'm 59 and have been riding motorbikes for the last 40 odd years. Great series though, almost worth buying a T100.
Maybe your unique John, but fatigue can be a pain with any of the controls on a bike if they dont fit you properly. I would appreciate it sir if you would refrain from swearing in the comments section this is a family friendly channel! Thanks you for watching and for your comment!

Hi Stuart, will you be fitting a centre stand to the T100 or T120?
Hello sir! no plans to fit one at the moment although it could certainly do with one! the T120 come with one as standard!

Hi Robert as with most sump guards they have to be removed for jacking the bike up!
cheers Stuart I thought so regards Robbie
Can it fit into 2018 street twin?
unfortunately not sir!
Excellent thanks
👍
