I can’t believe how much I love grocery hauls 😂 I’m from Australia so it shocks me how much pre packaged food and artificial foods they have in America 😨 We have it here too of course, just no where near as much!
Being from the US.. I am probably one of the few that is disgusted by it. No wonder the we has such a high obesity rate compared to other countries. I don’t mean any disrespect by that but it’s absurd! I go to farmer’s markets for majority of my food for this exact reason!
Same! No shame or offense on anyone, but the things that are called food in America, wow. Also I get that kids like snacks and Capri sun and sweet stuff, but here we snack bellpeppers or apple, pear or other fruit and vegetables. So much of these stuff has no real food in it.
We are a family of 4 and we go to sams for snacky food and easy meals. Our big grocery chunk goes mainly in veggies and fruit my kids are big veggie fruit eaters. It’s helped me as well since I use to be so picky not now. We don’t buy pre cut fruits or veggies wat cheaper to prep and divide myself and get way more.
I know you're a Built Bar fan but myself and many others cannot consume anything with whey protein. May I suggest No Cow protein bars for anyone here who has a whey intolerance. 200 calories, 20g of plant protein and 1g of sugar. They taste great too. ☺
Where Im from (Vancouver Canada) plastic bags are banned in most of all stores. America needs to catch up to the program lol 🌎 I always cringe seeing all those bags 😬
@@leighahoisington1415 yes same here for Vermont. A lot of times I forget them so I have to take my items out to my car and bag them up there lol 🤷🏼♀️ at least I remember to put the bags back in my car after I am done unloading.
I live in the mitten (Michigan) and most of US hate those plastic bags! I rather get the paper sacks or use the store reusable cloth bags. But, the stores barely have the paper.
I store my asparagus upright in a mason jar with some water (like flowers) and cover the tips with a snack size baggie. Lasts so long and keeps the, from drying out or turning to mush.
I highly recommend go to Sam's club for grocery since you have big family. Does the kids eat dinner what you make and what does the.other kids eat if they don't.eat what you make?
I love this video. Just find things differently. We usually buy our chicken by whole in Malaysia, usually we don’t buy by parts as in thigh. And most of vegies we will buy from wet market, so less plastic and cheaper.

Great video! I'm curious, are canvas/non-plastic grocery bags not a thing in the US? Here in Australia you have to pay for your bags at the supermarket so most people bring their own to reduce single use plastic.

Its insane the prices of food actually everything I live in Northern California smack in the middle of the Silicon Valley and its crazy here went to Costco this weekend and spent over 1000 dollars and all our 5 boys are grown and gone we did buy some other items and we also buy for our long term pantry but I feel so bad for the young families with the food and gas prices its ridiculous !!!
Can I ask how often you pick up fresh produce yogurt ect? It would only last a day maybe 2 in our house. Wondering if that's standard or my kids are going nuts?! Hah

There is a lot of states here that are plastic free. Or you have to pay like 10 cents for a paper/plastic bag. Gets a lot of us who are forgetful lol
I’m from NY and we banned them, we either bring our own or places provide with reusable (we’d have to pay for) or brown paper bags
I bring my own bags to the store but I think Brittany does pickup and unfortunately that is how they come.
