This dude was my idol during this halo 2 days. His double shot and BRX was the best of all time. Real people know.
Walshy was a master of button combos in H2. I still have problems doing a Double Burst while he can do 3 bursts into a double burst. Timing and combos are amazing along with map knowledge
Sometimes I wonder if people like Neighbor, Victory X, Elamite Warrior and Fearitself remember when I teamed with them(not at the same time) for a short period. I worked a crappy overnight job at the time when the Halo 2 scene was starting to blossom was in a customs clan that was full of a lot of great talent and teamed with some people who ended up going big time and bailing on me because I didn't have the schedule/time to invest into a pro team. I also remember waiting until FB stopped scrimming every night and hoping to get into one of Walshy's custom parties where he created some wild/fun game types for us all to mess around on even though we all just wanted to do some random 4's and hopefully end up on his team.

Walshy! Thank you for helping create an era, and for leading that era. Watching you play was a big part of my high school memories. I actually played you a couple of times in customs. My heart was pounding when I was invited to the lobby and I saw you and ogre 2 in the queue. Strongside might have been there as well. I never got to attend an MLG tourney, but I managed to “prove” myself among the high level competitive scene online, and often got invited to different customs with pros. My tag was skyn1nj4. I also have captured footage of getting a killtac on FFA midship with you as the 4th kill lol. You were already one shot when I found you in pink 3 though. What the hell am I trying to prove, you are the goat man 😅

button glitches were from halo2 on origional xbox. they became popular and were necissary to beat good players online. when i said mcc is broken its because the matchmaking takes forever, sometimes you go blackscreen during a game and de rank ( it happens to alot of people and is NOT connection issues.) their is a long list of issues that is ridiculous. google halo mcc broken reddit. or go to halo waypoint and read peoples complaints. all of them are real issues. i play mcc everyday and ive seen them all

Walshy That's a great idea, not swearing on the stream. Not that I amazingly care if someone swears, I swear all the time, but there's something more professional about it, so I can see that being a good thing for the stream.

Double and quad shot take a little practice to be useful, but anyone who can't bxr just doesn't use combo glitches on halo 2.

no lol not in the slightest... h2a feels alot like h4... but h1, 2 and 3 classic with the updated graphics all look and play beautifully

In my opinion, it does. Don't know what this guy is on about. Graphically, it looks like Halo 4, but gameplay-wise it is pretty much the Halo 2 MP you know and love with minor tweaks and a fresh coat of paint.
Michael Inoue thats crazy talk. its just the same as what they did with halo 1 anniversary... h1 anniversary IS reach... plays nothing like halo 1... its the same thing with h2a... it IS halo 4. its nothing to do with the graphics... its the core game mechanics... they ARE halo 4... its just how they built the game. for example- in halo 2 the shotgun is absolutely terrible, yet in h2a it is insanely powerful... its not just 'like' the halo 4 shotgun... it IS the halo 4 shotgun... and the same goes for all other weapons... the br, the snipe.... they ARE they halo 4 weapons with very little change... it plays NOTHING like the real halo 2 ...
bernard matthews What? The shotgun sucks. I know they added buffs to the magnum; not so sure about the shotgun or sniper. Also, you can't bring up the argument about what they did to Halo: CE Anniversary, because LITERALLY is Halo Reach MP. Halo 2 isn't literally Halo 4 MP- I don't see sprinting, Promethean weapons, customizable loadouts, or anything of the sort. I usually play Halo 2A and Halo 2 online (sometimes back to back), so I think I would know.

in fact ive posted numeroud times on halo waypoint because 343 reads the posts and is supposed to follow up on the bugs. my posts as well as many of my friends get locked and deleted within a day or two. AND we never swear or say anything that could be deemed innapropriate. they still get locked. 343 dosent care they already got your money

I never played Halo 2 before MCC (used to play Halo on PC and I didn't have Vista at the time to play Halo 2) but when I finally did I really did not like it. It just feels so off and clunky compared to Halo 3.

+MuscledRMH Halo 2 is the smoothest of the first 3. Weird, when people ask why I don't like H3, I say it's because it feels clunky and awkward. It really is just slow and clunky. It feels like you're skating. It also gets the award for worst hit registration in any halo. I played it for a few months after it came out... Sold it and then bought CoD World at War.
I know this is a very old comment but there is absolutely nothing clunky about Halo 2. If anything, you've got your games reversed. _Halo 3_ is the game that is objectively clunky, forcing you to lead all your shots and having much slower animations like the sword and meleeing. Everything about Halo 2 was objectively snappier and more responsive. If you think Halo 2 is clunky then you simply did not play Halo 2.
Walshy is a good killer, but a shitty ball carrier.
The shots weren't perfect, but the bullet registration was awful. I thought pro players would have good net, or is MCC always that bad for registering damage?
I hope this was early on in MCC because some of that was pretty mediocre from both teams. Just saying.
