Astros players can’t get a break anywhere outside of Houston. The only love they got were from some of the kids standing on the side.

@@805fillmore I guess there's that, but I think it's mainly the controversy from their 2017 WS title that fans still aren't letting go. However, I do think the Astros redeemed themselves after winning the 2022 WS, since I'm pretty sure it's legit.

Random rant incoming but whose bright idea was it to have the kids stand so far apart? The players had to stretch to high five all the kids, so some players only gave high fives to the kids on one side (usually the right side). Have some common sense and have the kids stand closer together next time.
I kept hoping they would scoot in a bit.
I know by tradition they usually have the color scheme of the teams city that their playing in that year but I feel like when every team gets their city connects they should make those the all star jerseys since the players are already representing their respective city by being at the all start game chosen by the fans of these city’s ..but iam pleased with this year’s jerseys whoever worked on those need a raise

Shane was injured and didn’t play and Wander was only there because Aaron Judge was injured. Mediocre at best.

@@brennanboston2746 There were plenty of players that were announced that were not going to play due to injury/ injury prevention. If you look when they announced the Rangers reserves, they had the Tampa Bay logo up, they were supposed to get announced, they were just skipped over. (it starts around 8:10) If Shane wasn't hurt, he would have would have probably been the starter and Wander is one of the best players and arguably the starter. Let's stop with these excuses and call a spade a spade, they were overlooked and skipped right over.

This concept is interesting. They come out like a wrestlers entrance. It was funny seeing the Braves players come out together since they had a lot 😂
It's a freaking shame they don't just wear their teams' jerseys. I used to love watching a game and see a cornucopia of team jerseys on the same team. It was a visual representation that these are the best of the best, a collection from around the league, not just one team. Now we just get the same jersey that no one knows and no one will remember by next year.

Regarding WANDER FRANCO & SEAN MCCLENAHAN:
To NOT ANNOUNCE players no matter what team they are on is a DISGRACE Not only that, but to NOT APOLOGIZE publicly is disgraceful too. My word, even the ASTROS who got booed were introduced (lol). Like someone said on Twitter, how would you like to go to your kid's graduation and them not be announced at commencement. Families and fans were disappointed.
WHETHER YOU LIKE A PLAYER OR A TEAM OR NOT, they DESERVE the recognition for their outstanding stats in MLB.
Unfortunately, they wanted to focus on the crowd's reaction to the Seattle players instead of announcing and showing the Tampa Bay players. I agree though.. it's completely unacceptable to skip over them.
It just shows the MLB and Fox lack of respect for the Rays, the players and the Rays fans.....
