After probably my 50th listen, this finally made me cry. It should be impossible to craft something so beautiful while being so consistent. It's like a crayon that colors violently but never goes outside the lines. It keeps convincing you that it's going to, and you believe it every time, then it pivots right back to the rest of the drawing. This remix gives me so much life. You really crafted a diamond here, Qumu.

from the LOZ breath of the wild there is a suit that you earn from the gerudo's. i think that is where they are getting the idea.

Something I feel was iconic about the original track was just how punctuated and staccato both the melody and rhythm were. There was a fullness of the guitar track that gave it an ambient quality despite being so sharp. I find in this remix that you are incredibly faithful to that character in the theme, and through the use of layering instruments you've also accomplished this same deceptively legato yet staccato latin flavor. Instrumentals often forget to treat the instruments like voices, and at many times in this piece it felt like soloettes and concerto moments.
All in all, this is my favorite remix of the theme I've ever heard. I've been listening to them for over a decade, and this really stands out to me for how many unique voices come together to form what could also be seen as a choral arrangement. I can't think of where else this could come from but a deep appreciation for the source material, and a desire to carry it beyond it's original limitations.
Fantastic remix, I found this page through the Luigi's Mansion remix before, but I'm discovering a lot of talent everywhere in what you produce. Thanks for this one in particular.

This channel is one of the only ones that makes quality remixes. So often I find channels where their remixes all sound the same because they use the same drum line and base progression for every song. Keep up the good work! This one and Delfino Plaza are my personal favorites!

Don't get me wrong, this is a great remix and Ocarina of Time has great music, but I don't like how Gerudo Valley and Song of Storms are the go-to Zelda remixes. Can't we get some Dancing Dragon Dungeon (Oracle of Seasons), Face Shrine (Link's Awakening), or Great Palace (Zelda II)? There are so many great Zelda songs, but Ocarina of Time is just...everywhere.

Not that I'm trying to guilt you into doing any of those, I've just been fed up with Ocarina of Time's fame as of late and those are some of my favorite Zelda songs...
Greatlord Shadox Oracle of Seasons had some solid tunes.
I don't blame you for feeling that way at all. While I personally dislike when a lot of people jump on a bandwagon, leading to low variation of content, I refuse to let a song's popularity stop me from remixing it. I know there are a lot of other mixes of this and other songs, and that in the end, mine will probably be drowned out by those, but I make my remixes because I like the song and it inspires me. I don't want someone else's popularity measure to affect how I make my music.
So... Conclusion... I respect your opinion, and I share it somewhat, but the only thing I think about when remixing something is if I'm inspired by the song or not ;D
Just the sort of answer I expected! Again, I don't hold it against you - it _is_ a good song - I've just gotten to the point where Gerudo Valley remixes all sound the same, though your less-complicated-than-average rendition is still interesting to listen to! As usual, the Qumu flair is audible!
