    I was at the game rooting for my Bison and I must say, Bobcat fans were awesome. Their program is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Great coaching, great fan base, keeps your heads up.

      From a Bobcat, who was also at the game, thanks for once again showing where the standard for FCS football is and building one heck of a plastic cup snake in the stands, that was awesome.
      Hope to see you in Frisco again soon.

    It's looking like it's going to be the 2 dakota schools and the 2 montana schools at the top for the foreseeable future

    after watching the game with less emotion, NDSU still beat a very good MSU. Their backup qb was very experienced and did as good as anyone would expect against the best defense in the FCS. Touchdown Tommy doesn't change the score very much. they will come back better next year for sure.

      The backup QB had only a 43% pass completion rate. The starting QB had 53%. MSU coaches will need to work on that.

    That game was too painful to watch the first time. ND line just dominated MT. But ND showed some class when they didn't just run up the score like they easily could have.

    Even tho I thought we would have won anyways, if the bobcat backup qb had the 1 reps during the off time I think Montana state makes it close and to the wire. Both teams storylines kick ass.

    This championship game is what happens when you get the seeding wrong. Sure, the best team might end up being the champ but the game itself is terrible. Bottom line is you want the two best teams to meet in the final and that should be your goal when seeding the teams. This year that didn't happen and the game was really No contest. By halftime most TV viewers had flipped channels which is a missed opportunity for the FCS playoffs.

    • @Fargoguy54
      @Fargoguy54 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Honestly, did anyone expect Montana State to beat Sam Houston State? THAT was the expectation and the goal so your criticism is unwarranted and unjustified.

    • @TonyTheFlatlander
      @TonyTheFlatlander 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Fargoguy54 sam houston was overrated this fall and in the spring when the won they title. Ndsu's inexperienced qb play was the only reason sam houston won that title.

    • @TonyTheFlatlander
      @TonyTheFlatlander 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Who was the second best team than? It certainly wasn't sam houston. They lost for a reason. Strength of schedule was extremely telling in their case.

    • @emptyhand777
      @emptyhand777 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TonyTheFlatlander - there is no second best team. NDSU sits alone in its own echelon. Every now and again they have a close game only for their depth to dominate late in the 4th. And a team familiar with the Bison will upset them once every couple years IF the Bison come out flat.
      But this product is watered down and a bore for fans outside Bison Nation. Hell, even Bison fans are getting bored with this, based on the home playoff game attendance.
      It's like beating your little brother one-on-one in the driveway for the umpteenth time. It doesn't even appear difficult anymore.
      Here's a bold prediction: NDSU will win the 2022 National Championship Game by double digits. How much would you wager against that?

      @@emptyhand777 as a ND resident I am well aware. He said montana state wasn't the 2nd best team and I wanted to hear who he thought it was. I hope we keep winning, it isn't the teams fault the other schools can't keep up.
