I've actually had a couple cheaters in my lobbies lately, and I'm not sure if its some common aimbot that's out right now or if maybe its the same few people who keep making new accounts and end up in my lobbies, but I've noticed their aimbots don't really work as well when they're ADS, only when hipfiring. Had a lot of instances where I spectated and noticed this, very strange.
I'm absolutely horrible at Apex, but I don't mind. As an illustrator, I find enjoyment in the lore, the visuals, the music, all the amazing characters, also it's not a bad deal being able to observe how other players approach situations in a frantic game like this. I believe people who cheat do it just to get the buzz from their rising status, in other words they like the destination more than the journey, a means to and end, whatever. Meanwhile normal gamers are the opposite, they enjoy the journey more than the destination, which they just treat like a nice cold drink after an exhilarating experience.

Its funny watching these videos, my brother tried convincing me that people dont cheat on this game, i run into them frequently, he eventually got fed up with me saying that a guy was cheating, he then got onto my account, and first game, he ran into a charge rifle cheater, we all know the ones, the ones that just hold down left click or r2 and have the infinite lock on beam that never ends, the look on his face was unforgettable
As a person who cheats in offline games for my own entertainment or just to find cool things out of bound but cheating in a online game brings you nothing not even joy of satisfaction
These round 1 dead lobbies are why I've been saying 60 players aren't enough. Should be 75 or 90 if we're doing squads of 3. Might even make 20 bombs more viable to get.

There's a small sense of satisfaction knowing that these individuals are so self reliant on cheats.. cuz when you take it away from them what else do they really have? If anything it stops them from playing because they get that reality check again that they wasn't shi to begin with, hence why they do this.. seriously tho I'd rather have these cheaters stare at a wall trying to figure out what else to do with there lives then lie to themselves.. it's not good for ya health.

Happen to me 3 days ago. He uses Pathy too, but he doesn't turn it off. He played through the match with 19 kill all headshots just by using wingman lmao.
Unfortunately my current scuff controller is a no go, so waiting for the new Jankz edition to arrive before I can play apex again, hope it comes by late December!🎉
That first game was so fast. Imagine how that guy felt being on a team with them. As for the cheater thing, yes it is unfun and they should have cheaters go against other cheaters when they queue up in a game tbh. But while we don't like it, we know why they cheat. Besides being trolls (especially when it is ranked though I more commonly see it in pubs), people just get frustrated playing shooters and want to get that 4k badge or legendary skin in easier ways then just playing and slowly getting better. Not everyone can dedicate the time they need to though for me I still take the little time I have and try to be better. It's harder to wrap your head around when you're great at a game or sport

Not always, some people legitamately cheat because they think that the game is unfair, so they have the right to cheat. Some cheaters are super salty and blame other people for cheating even though they themselves are using walls and aimbot.

I just assume that the low player counts we see in Apex compared to other BRs is an engine limitation. They really should make an Apex 2, tbh.

Cheaters will get the stats that they want and not win.
The moment these guys win, the easier it becomes to snuff them out
Whenever a cheater gets reported, they should instead be put in a cheater lobby without them knowing.
