Terrible Creek has been on my bucket list for years but I haven’t got there yet. It is popular with many here in the Burdekin region and their information is that there ARE often saltwater crocs present. Burdekin folk don’t swim there. Crocs are not rare in the Bowen River so it is a given they will be in the Creek at times. That was the best coverage of Terrible Creek I’ve ever seen, it makes me want to get there even more. Until now I’ve only seen a couple of very short vids and some stills. Excellent work Tim, thank you 🙏
G'day Rory, cheers ay. I did go for a swim after watching the water for some time. Not for too long though but did spend a bit of time sitting in the rock pools. It's a top spot. Hope you get there soon. And when you do post some pics to the facebook page so I and others can check them out. Cheers!
Same spot where we camped a couple of years ago 😊…the highlight of the day was having a snake slither by me while I was sitting in the chair I think it was just a tree snake but still 😊
Awesome video man, coyote works recommended your channel and he was right. You got some quality content on here! Wouldn’t mind spending a weekend at terrible creek myself haha
@@TimRumble no problem man, can’t wait to see some more videos from ya! Casey mentioned you in his live and I’m glad I looked ya up, happy to subscribe 👍🏻🍻
Nice work mate, looking forward to part 2. We are planning a trip up your way next year, to all the places I've passed but never had time to stop and look at and probably on to the Cape. Weather wise, when do you think would be the earliest month you would leave Brissie? We will have plenty of time.
G'day Peter... you'll definitely have to let me know and we can share a rumby over a campfire mate. Earliest month... depends on what your after up Cape York. Weather here is pretty bloody nice come April. But may be too wet still up at Cape York. All depends on rainfall ofcourse. But even mid year doesn't get too cold mate. I think I had a jumper on for like a week this year. Pretty much shorts and shirt all year round.
Terrible Creek, definitely does not seem as the name suggests, awesome spot blue chip location, enjoyed watching 👍🏼
G'day George, yeah it's an odd name for a mint spot. I did wonder why it was named Terrible. I'll try to find out.
Nice sleeping setup. They go under different names, but I call them 'cot tents'. I own one as well, and they're bloody brilliant.
They are indeed. I brought the Mrs one for xmas. Haha

Vey dry out there
Yeah come January, it will hopefully get a good soaking and fill all the dams and rivers up.
Should have taken the yabbie pots
Yeah I know. Might have had a win.
