Absolutely love that Top Secret front pipe. Thank you for filming these parts. I am not there personally yet, and its stupid helpful to see and watch you with your parts. I ended up getting the garage active cooling plate after you showed it and how it fit. I do have a question around your turbo choice. Am i crazy or did you blow HKS ones in the past? Thanks in advance. I am also looking to keep mine twin turbo, and an thinking the HKS over Garrett. Not Tomei etc

No problem glad you enjoy the parts videos. My goal is to film them in close detail to give you the experience that your looking at these yourself in person. Especially when your spending thousands of dollars on parts and all you have to go off is a small picture on the website your ordering from. As far as what turbos failed on my car. I was running UP Garage DR500 turbos made by Spectrum Motorsports. My issue that caused the front turbo to fail, was I had low oil pressure, only around 45 psi at redline. A couple of the mains touched the crank while roll racing pushing metal through the turbos killing the CHRA. Garrett turbos are awesome, I know LZ has a set on his R34 making 600whp on E85. The HKS 2530 will probably do the same on E85. Garretts are BB and HKS is journal bearing. Both have billet compressor wheels. I went with HKS because the journal bearing will take way more abuse and take more to wear out vs the BB option. I have driven 2 GTR's with the GTiii 2530 turbos and they are awesome.

@@JDMRightHandDrive Yeah, it's crazy how little documentation is out there on parts. Even just a basic video showing something in detail.... Been eye balling the Top Secret Bonnet for a while, and there is zero good video of it showing gap, latching etc. So thank you for doing this!

That all looks great. I wish I could do this too. I need that financial security before I delve deep into my build. What ECU are you planning to use?

Yeah I agree, once you go down the GTR rabbit hole, things start to add up quick. My car has a Link G4+ ecu right now. I am going to reach out to Link and try to get a partnership with them later on in my build for the new G4X
