Dragonflies belong to the order Odonata.
Dragonflies belong to the order Odonata, which is a group of insects that also includes damselflies. The order Odonata is characterized by large, bulging eyes, two pairs of transparent wings, and a long, slender body. Dragonflies and damselflies are often considered to be two separate groups within the order Odonata, with dragonflies being larger and having a more robust body, while damselflies are smaller and have a more delicate body structure. However, both dragonflies and damselflies share many similar physical characteristics, and both play important roles in many ecosystems as predators and prey.
2 They have a wingspan of 2.5 to 5 inches.
Dragonflies have a wingspan that ranges from 2.5 to 5 inches, which is relatively large for insects. This large wingspan allows them to fly quickly and maneuver easily in the air. The wings of dragonflies are also transparent, which helps to reduce drag and increase lift, making them highly efficient fliers. Additionally, dragonflies are able to adjust the angle and shape of their wings to control their flight, allowing them to hover, fly backwards, and perform other aerobatic maneuvers. Overall, their large wingspan and highly adaptable wings make dragonflies skilled and efficient fliers, which helps them to successfully hunt and avoid predators in their natural environment.
3 Dragonflies can fly up to 60 miles per hour.
Dragonflies are capable of flying at speeds of up to 60 miles per hour, making them one of the fastest insects in the world. This speed allows them to efficiently hunt and evade predators in their habitats, such as near bodies of water.
    4. They have a lifespan of only a few months
The lifespan of dragonflies is typically only a few months, although it can vary depending on the species and the conditions in which they live. Most adult dragonflies only live for a few weeks to a few months, during which time they mate, lay eggs, and die. During this time, they are highly active, flying and hunting for food, and using their pheromones to attract mates. After mating, the female dragonfly lays her eggs near a water source.
    5. Dragonflies use pheromones to attract mates.
Dragonflies use pheromones to attract mates. Pheromones are chemical substances produced by animals that are used for communication and can trigger specific behaviors or physiological responses in other animals of the same species. In the case of dragonflies, the males produce pheromones that are used to attract females for mating.
6.Dragonflies have independent control over each of its four wings.
Because of their wings, dragonflies are very adept at flying. They have four separate flight techniques since they can beat each wing individually.
    7.Dragonflies are older than dinosaurs
Dragonflies are indeed older than dinosaurs. Dragonflies belong to the order Odonata and have existed for about 300 million years.
8.The sight of dragonfly eyes is breathtaking.
Dragonfly eyes are one of the most fascinating features of these insects. They are known for their large size, intricate design, and stunning coloration.
    9. Dragonflies have the ability to control their body temperature.
Dragonflies are capable of regulating their body temperature through a process called thermoregulation
    10. The heat is unbearable for dragonflies.
The heat can be difficult for dragonflies to handle as they are cold-blooded insects, meaning their body temperature is regulated by the environment.

You're first "dragonfly" from 0:10 to 0:30 is not a dragonfly. It's a hover fly from the order Diptera, family Syrphidae. Notice it has only 2 wings, characteristic of true flies, not 4 winged dragonflies. Still a nice little intro video to amazing creatures.

I like to think of dragonflies as dolphins of the sky because of how they like to hover in front of you whether you're on a bike or walking.

Points Nr. 9 and Nr. 10 contradict each other, at least in the way you displayed them.
So they can regulate their body temperature using not just the environment but also internal processes. While also being cold-blooded, meaning they are reliant on the environment to keep their body within reasonable temperature ranges and possess next to no, if any at all, methods to maintain their body heat and keeping themselves from freezing to death.
In point 9 you describe essentially them being warm-blooded. capable of regulating their body temperature.
while in point 10 you said that they are cold-blooded. they struggle greatly with maintaining their body temperature.
    So which is it?
Did you intend to say they struggle with keeping their temperature low? because that tends to be an issue warm-blooded creatures struggle much more with than cold-blooded ones.

I'm very confused. In one fact, the video said dragonflies can regulate their temperature; in another fact, it said they are cold-blooded and depend on their environment in regards to temperature. How can both be true? :)

He said a lot of stupid things and talked about dragonflies while showing damselflies. Just ignore this channel

The insect shown on the intro isn't a dragonfly, it is a hoverfly. Sorry about being so picky.
