Buna tuturor. Any 18650 battery with at least a 10A rating will work, they just have different capacity. The most important thing is to buy all the batteries at the same time and all the same brand and model. They will become whats know as married, they all charge and discharge together, to keep voltage differences down. I'd go with these, www.imrbatteries.com/samsung-36g-18650-3600mah-10a-battery/ They are 3600mAH, the largest offered in the 18650 size, should give you an improved battery life over the OEM. (I'm pretty sure the batteries in the video are Samsung SD1 also, just a lower mAH rating) You can solder them, just look up a youtube video. But soldering can raise the temperature to much and damage the cell. Best is to use a spot welder.

One of the batteries may be damaged or the batteries model is not good. It needs to handle 20A discharge
I used INR18650-25R ,it should work🙈
Maybe one of them is bad, try to measure each one while starting the vacuum cleaner. Check for a big voltage drop.
I bought another batteries , but the result is still the same🥲
:( The motor is spinning ok? If the motor is bot spinning ok is taking more curent and it stops.
Buna tuturor.
Incarcarea dureaza cam 2-3 ore

Great, thanks very informative.
Hi, i also replaced batteries on 2 of these. I used panasonic 3400mah. They wont charge past 3rd light out of 4. I get about 11min out of it. With original batteries with smaller capacity it lasted 20min. Does your fully charge, how long does it last?
Did you solve the issue?
@@eburoon No, i just use it as it is and dont mind it any more... 11min is enough for me.
Do you still use this cleaner? I wanted to replace the battery pack in my unit, but when disassembled it, I damaged the PCB and some component damaged. Can you take good quality photos of the PCB to recover my cleaner?
Hello, I replaced the batteries with new ones, I connected all of them but it does not work. I measured the voltage, it's 17,6 V (measured the last + and last -).
I checked, there are no loose wires. What could be the reason?
Check if the new batteries can handle 20A discharge or if the motor is blocked.
@@ImpactDIY thanks. I can check the motor but how can I check the discharge?
@@mirkobezic4842 hi, have you found the problem?
@@creationsmv6201 No, I gave up.
I changed them but after fully charging it only works for 8 seconds. Is it the batteries' fault?
Yes, one or more of the batteries has a problem. I use batteries recovered from cordless drill to be sure they are genuine. There are a lot of fake batteries on the market.
Battery changed and now it lasts forever :D
Trebuie folosite celule fara protectie
Thanks for this vidéo . This week i've change the accu but i think i have the same problem with u. Why WE have just 3 lights . I Can have 4 but Come not. Maybe someone know my problem ? Or we must wait ?
Sometimes it takes up to 12 hours to charge. When is full the lights will turn off and it will only light the four lights for a second every few minutes.

If you can check the voltage of every battery, maybe one of them has a problem. Did you use all 5 same type of battery?

Where are you buy this batterie?
salut unde pot gasi celule pt. modelul AEG Li-45 ergo rapido? Multumesc.

You can use bigger capacity 1850 batteries, there is no problem, It will only take longer to charge. But do not use laptop batteries, they have more amps but very slow discharge rate.
Electrolux and AEG are the same thing. But be careful at polarity, i found models with different wiring.
Hello, what battery did you use in the video?
which battery should we use for this
18650 non protectected(without bms) that can handle to draw more than 10amps
Will it work with eneloop’s AA 1,5volt 2000mAh? The original charger can handle that?
Hello, the only type of cells that will work are 18650 not protected(without BMS). DANGER!! If you use any other type of battery it can result in Fire or explosion. Please use only 18650 cells.
@@ImpactDIY What amp? is 15a good?
r r original cells are rated 1490 mAh/15A, I replaced mine with 2490 mAh/ 25A
I had 12 vacuum cleaners, I fixed all using 18650 cells recovered from cordless drils. I used 2500mah on many of them and they work perfect. All cells have min 20A

Samsung INR18650-15R 3,6V 1,5Ah / 18A. I used Samsung INR18650-25R 3,6V 2,5Ah / 20A, bought them online for €5.90.
Which type of screwdriver do I need? T10?
Yes T10
Hi need your advice here. After replace the batteries, the red led is lid when i press the On button. What is the issue?
Hello. Try to charge it first. The batteries may not be balanced.
genial CAPO!
Thanks a lot!
it would be easier to replace unit, than change batteries. I'm sure engineering could come up with an a easier disconnect for vacuum
Thanks! I used Samsung inr18650-25, 2500mah 20a found at a good price.
Pane Bože, kdo to video točil, to byl fakt zoufalec.
Salutare.

i have a similar problem like you guys, when i set my aeg on charger it gets charged for 2/3 mins and the led indicator turns off which means that the batteries are full, but when i take it out it cannot even work for 5 mins, the batteries get dead. When i open the down part and when i use my multimeter to see my volts of my batteries, every single battery has 4,17 volts. i’d be good if anyone could help me
You need to change the cells
One of them or more has problems
i know but each battery has 4,17 volts can it be anywhere else problem, if no i can try ordering new batteries, and i would even like that’s the problem, its the easiest thing
did you find a solution for the problem? When mine stops there is over 4,01 volt on every cell. That's why I haven't replaced the cells yet.
@@solvozurk check the charger voltage, it may be broken.
I received a unit from a friend who replaced the cells with Samsung 30Q's. The vacuum would just turn on for a few seconds but then it would stop and a red led lit up. He thought replacing the cells would help but it didn't. Is the circuit broken? Can i do something?
Have you replaced all cells ? It looks like a cell is bad. When this happens open the vacuum cleaner and measure each one of them. One of them or more should be under 3 volts. Those are bad cells.
@@ImpactDIY Thank you for the answer. The cells were all at 4.13V everything was wired correct. I found the problem after checking all solder connections. The ground connection of the motor was loose and lost connection sometimes. I didn't see the loose wire because of the heatshrink.
I resoldered the wire to the terminal and everything works perfect now. (I hate lead free solder.)

Can be batteries changed to bigger capacity than original? Does the in-built charger manage that?
One more thing. The interior looks like Electrolux Ergorapido ZR series. The same?

Thank you for this tutorial! I was not so sure if i can change the cells by myself. I watched this tutorial, bought 5 sony vtc5 and changed them:) Now my vaccum cleaner has been charging for the first time for 9 hours now and still charging (2600mAh cells). How long does it take for 2600mAh cells? Ergorapido 75STM. Thank you!
Hello! How many mah charger?
@@ImpactDIY It's original Electrolux charger 25V, 0,5Ah.
Ok my mistake. One battery was installed with wrong side:( i changed polarity and started charging... I hope nothing was broken...
Hi I did the exact same thing you did, but now when i put the unit to charge, there is no charging light indicator. I changed back to the old batteries and still no charging light. Any idea whats going on?
Ahmad Muammar check the polarity of the cels, you should take pictures before you removed them so you know you did not mess the polarity. Also after you change the batteries if it is not starting try to make a full charge. But on yours if you do not have charging light on is is very posible to be wrong polarity. The cels are not arranged the same on all models, even same model have different arrangement. Have a nice day and good luck!
Hi. Thanks for the fast reply. I did check the polarity and the new battery pack reads positive 18 volts which means its working. I think i shorted something on the board while changing the battery. Anyways, thanks again.
@@ahmadmuammar8630 have you found the problem?
@@creationsmv6201 Yes. It was the board. I'm sure I shorted something while removing the old battery. I got a new board by buying a second hand set which battery also last for a minute. Got new batteries too. And it managed to last for 2-3 more years before the same problem happened.

Hi.
Thanks for a great video.
I have a Ergorapido ZB 2944W model (2900 series).
What kinda batteries do I need to order?
Will those SONY US18650VTC6 work on this vaccum cleaner?
Id appreciate it if anyone with knowledge would take a minute to help me out here, thank you.
(It would be even better if you added in the description what you use when you solder, you know for total noobs)
Any 18650 battery with at least a 10A rating will work, they just have different capacity. The most important thing is to buy all the batteries at the same time and all the same brand and model. They will become whats know as married, they all charge and discharge together, to keep voltage differences down.
I'd go with these, www.imrbatteries.com/samsung-36g-18650-3600mah-10a-battery/
They are 3600mAH, the largest offered in the 18650 size, should give you an improved battery life over the OEM. (I'm pretty sure the batteries in the video are Samsung SD1 also, just a lower mAH rating)
You can solder them, just look up a youtube video. But soldering can raise the temperature to much and damage the cell. Best is to use a spot welder.
@@infrad3ad277 Hi. Thanks for the help.
