These are so cute but POSCA and any fabric paint does need heat setting/ sealing to the tote/canvas bag to prevent it ruining in the wash or daily use. ( I do this for a living and use poscas regularly on totes/denim/hoodies)

What’s heat seating??
@@haicu6772 heat setting can be done with a heat press or an iron on the back side of the fabric. It just seals the painting/artwork to the fabric/canvas material used

I don't know whether my favorite is the big black cat tote (the tail texture really was neat), or the rainbow pencil bag (that gradient was so delicious)! They all turned out great, and now I wonder whether paint pens just sometimes struggle with fabric, or if a pack of fresh pens would be easier to work with.
Hi! I paint with posca pens on tote bags all the time and if you ever do it again you should paint one or two layers of white (or mix canvas color) acrylic before putting the posca pen on it so it doesn’t absorb as much and it really makes your poscas last longer
Do you have to prep the bag before painting or seal the paint when you’re done with the pens?
Hi, what kind of acrylic do you mean, and what if I want to for example do white letters on a black totebag? Is there a transparent acrylic, and shall I paint all over the totebag before doing the lettering?
Words can not describe how adorable all these bags were. My favorite has to be the small pencil bag with the cat and crayons.

Honestly if you made the crybaby tote bag and pouch id buy it immediately. The shape one is cool too but I like crybaby most :)

The vibe bag is so cute! If you end up doing it, though, i strongly recommend making it with an acetate panel in front of the face (like an ita bag) to make sure the pins don’t go flying off somewhere. It’s such a heartbreaker when that happens.

Maybe using gesso under the posca would stop the fabric sucking in so much of the paint? It would also stop bleed through, but it could just be that the pens were running low anyway. Very cute designs :)
It's always so fun customizing your own thing's ❤ I really love how creative and daring you are with your designs, especially when coloring them in. I am still trying to get out of my comfort zone but sometimes you just have to push yourself and just do it. I love the art and ideas you put on the totes and the pouches 😊

if you're going to do this again I'd recommend priming the canvas with some white acrylic so the bags don't absorb all of the paint from your pens!
