I’m French and discovered Paul Young with my dad who loved « Come back and stay ». I literally fell in love with the guy and the English language. I was 11 at the time. I’m now 51, lived in England as a French and Spanish teacher and now 14 years in the Canary Islands teaching English. Thank you Paul Young!! I also love the song « Live if the common people ».
Absolutely perfect and sexy as hell y'all and I'm from New York City a great guy and absolutely handsome 😘🇭🇲🌹💟🇭🇲🇯🇲🇮🇪🇨🇦🇺🇸🎇🎇✡️🇬🇧🇮🇱🇸🇭🇯🇲😇🕊️❤️🕎🙏😇🕊️💖🎆🎇💐 he was handsome back in the day and these days I don't understand why some people would think he passed away smh the chutzpah homies i was a fan of his back in the 80s 🙏❤️💖🇦🇩🇮🇱🇸🇭🇯🇲🇮🇪🇺🇸🇨🇦♾️🕎💟🎆🎇🕊️😇🕎 absolutely adorable 😍🥰💖🇦🇩
Must've been just before he tore his vocal cords on this tour in 85. He pretty much got his great voice back after many months. But sadly, they broke again and didn't recover. Not sure when. Early 90s?
Great voice when it was in its pomp - shame he can barely talk through songs these days. If he had actually wrote some of his hits, rather than them all being mainly covers, his royalties might have meant he didn't need to haul his broken voice up and down the country doing rewind festivals and the sort
Tall sexy hair sexy clothes sexy voice sexy body sexy eyes cute left dimple darling accent loved all of his songs when he died he shattered my heart into a million pieces
Absolutely perfect in my opinion hey there it's Rosie from New York City how are you feeling today I'm great thanks for asking his wife Stacey passed away from brain cancer a few years ago
Paul in his pomp, one of the finest blue eyed soul singers of all time. Sad his voice didn’t stand the test of time but take nothing away from a great singer/performer/proper pop star!
This is why his voice is so shot now bc he gave his all back then snd sang hard and hurt his vocal chords and didn’t take care of them. Very talented man. Shades of Elvis.

Wow, I’ve never seen this until now, thank you for posting it. I had forgotten how good his voice was live. He will always be my favorite singer.
What a great voice.
Paul (Young) was only 29 at the time. He'll turn 63 in January 2019. Where did the years go? He had the best 80s hair.
as the song goes, everything must change ?

@@brooklynbabe7896 I’m also from NYC and I feel the same way about him. I must admit I had a crush on him. ☺️🥰😛
P.S. - Paul Young from Mike And The Mechanics passed away. That’s why some people are confused. Same name, different person.
The best 🤩
Great singing. Stay safe.
Brilliant upload , thanks ! Sonique 😁
And Shaffer and the band played to commercial "Every Time You Go Away" by Paul Young himself.
Gfosss🎉❤
Love you

🥰🥰😍😍
He speaks in a British accent and sings in an American accent.
Funny dude.
That seems to be true of most British singers.
@@MsAppassionata Agreed.
Eh? How is his signing voice American lol?
@@MsAppassionata is it? Most sound British to me when they sign. Or just neutral.
@@jamesmason8436 Sign? You mean sing?

He's alive and well and just turned 66 years old
He’s not dead! Cheer up!
You’re mixing him up with Paul Young from Mike And The Mechanics.
I saw him concert, he is very much alive.

His voice is very similar to Richard Madden’s.
Guillermo Parraguez What? The Actor? Not really.
But Richard Madden is Scottish??

His influence is Paul Rodgers
