Years ago on Princess- if you didn’t want to go to formal night, you could go to the aft restaurant by the buffet - and they had tablecloths and waiters serving & would have different specialty pastas! Was a really nice option (especially for my friend - her luggage didn’t make arrive on the plane when we boarded the ship - so she didn’t have her formal night dress - and we all really enjoyed the aft restaurant- I think we were the only people eating there - and her luggage did arrive when we got to the first port)!
The cherry in sherry desert is called a trifle. Classic British desert. Yum! Also the cream served with the scones is called clotted cream ( unless what the served was actually whipped cream or cream cheese lol). A must at tea.
it all looked delicious.. one thing i like about the carnival cruise line is that the "elegant night " is actually just casual fancy, don't really have to worry about a jacket or tie versus some other cruise lines..
YUM!! Made me really miss the Princess buffet with the wonderful salad bar and all the different cheeses!! Loved the variety! Shame you didn’t try breakfast in the MDR! Highly recommend it!! BTW - I love the bacon in the Horizon Court buffet! Always crisp and drained of fat! Love the pub lunch too - I enjoy their bangers & mash, and have had the plougman’s lunch too!! No Metamucil (Muesli) Tony?? You know I love the International Cafe & I could live on tea time scones & preserves & clotted cream (and the little sandwiches)!! I’m a bagels, lox & cream cheese lover too (and breakfast deli meats & the always good fresh fruit)! Tony, thanks for sharing (wish you would have tried room service too - quite a good menu - most items are free)!!

Lots of fruit and samon could be worse you could have eliminated fruit and samon. I love princess cruises going in October. Thanks for the tip on the pork belly I’ve always passed it up as well as the goat cheese soufflé Not this time and I will be attending tea time ☕️ Thanks so much for sharing your joyful time. 😋😋😋
Hoping some of these items will be on the regal. My favorite foods are lobster, caviar, cream cheese and lox, sea scallops, and escargot. I hope to eat these items as often as possible.
I wish the food would look a little bit more appetizing. The entire family sat through the video and there wasn't much we wanted. Personally, I'm excited about the smoke salmon bagel. I could eat that every morning. My kid wants to try the London broil. My wife is putting all her hopes in the International cafe. As you well know, I'm going to be on the same cruise ship in 2 weeks. By chance, do you know if they use the MDR for breakfast? We normally like to relax there and order Eggs Benedict or a fancy french toast.
@J Lo, if you happen to see this and you have time to reply: I was wondering what you thought about the food? I cannot decide between celebrity or princess so it comes down to the food for us. The specialty coffee and international cafe makes me lean towards princess..any thoughts? thanks 😁💖

There is definitely breakfast available in both the buffet and MDR on disembarkation day. I always make sure I get that last delicious MDR meal before getting off the ship!

Going in March on the Caribbean Princess... definitely doing tea time.. and the assortment and freshness of fruits, etc, looks really good.

Yes, we didn’t eat in MDR for breakfast but it was available. 😊jenny

I noticed that breakfast of debarkation day breakfast is not eaten by many creative vlogers. Is breakfast not available or is it?
We had an early depart time. We kinda get in the mood to disembark quickly so we don’t often eat breakfast on the ship, but they do offer it. - Tony
