When I part, I put my hair in two horizontal sections. I section the back first and then use those parts as a guide to part the front section for even sections without running out of space at the nape.
The braid out turned out amazing!! 🥰 When I do twist outs or braid outs I like my hair to have volume so I use and Afro pick on my roots to fluff it a bit without disturbing the curls.
It turned out gorgeous! Cornrow braidouts have always done me dirty but I’ve always done them on wet, curly hair. I’ll have to try it on stretched hair.

Chim D I suggest braiding right out of the shower while having a leave in on, it’s tricky because your hair is slippery, but that prevents me from braiding too tight since I have less grip, it also leaves my hair super soft and when I take the braids out they look so nice my scalp is sooo soooo soooo sensitive so I’m always looking for ways to not stress it, hope that helps :)
I wish I could say that. My braids be tight but it's not tight on my scalp lol I taught myself how to braid by braiding my son's hair 😅 that's why it don't be tight on the scalp. 🤣😒🤣🤣
