Well past her prime but she still managed to kill it. Even when her vocals were not 100% she cld improvise and make due with what she had and still sound awesome. That is the true mark of a world class singer. They work around their deficits and make it work marvelously!
Whitney should have made more music like this. She is so great when she sings real soul and jazz too. Just listen to her singing Summertime, Dionne Warwick or Aretha Franklin. Whitney is the best! This should be included on a live album!
Thank you for uploading this. My pastor told me yesterday he had something for me. I'm saying to myself oh Lord what is it? Well it turned out he bought me Be Be Winans new book which he titled "The Whitney I Knew". I will always miss Whitney and I will always love her. Inspite of her obvious troubles she still had such a warm loving and humble spirit. No one says or sings "hallelujah" like Whitney did. I'll never know why the Lord took her so early :-(
