  • This video is the last (part three) of our series on the Japanese passive form.
    Here is the passive sentence form:
    RECEIVING THE ACTION は + DOING THE ACTION に + VERBられる = PASSIVE
    To conjugate the verbs, find the dictionary or plain form, change the final "u" to "a" and add れる. Exceptions: If the verb ends in an あ・い・う・え・お, change to わ and then add れる. Irregular verbs する is される and くる is こられる.
