So the actual previous winners of All Stars both can claim they would have voted Shangela up into the final 2 in the running to join them. That says it all... P.S. All Stars 4 - while I’d prefer top 2 not be chosen through jury, if we are to have something like that, could we instead have Chad, Alaska & Trixie decide with the competitors aiding them in their decision, providing things they might not have known if they were not competitors. It would still make for a juicy twist and potentially shift ideas for the top 2 at last moment, however it would also still be ajudicated to a degree. Just an idea!
Maksim Kelm I actually am happy with Trixie winning 😊 I think she is a great addition to the winners circle. My point was more that I found it interesting that these 2 say they would have voted Shangela into the top 2. Trixie has said herself she’d expected to see Shangela there so my point was more around the confusion as to why the obvious choice of Trixie and Shangela was not made. If two winners are showing a pinch of reluctance to admit that they kind of are confused by the result a bit, and that if it had been them - choosing the fair choice based on the competition would have been their choice - it just can put audiences who are equally confused at the result at ease in knowing that they are not alone in thinking that. Trixie is the winner, I’m really happy. I just know I’d be even more over the moon if I’d seen her manage to beat Shangela in the top 2 lipsynch. That would have been incredible!
i think trixie’s win is well deserved just because her original season didn’t showcase how funny and creative she was but what she went on to do outside of the show was so big and incredible, getting the crown and finally closing the drag race chapter of her life makes sense. shangela and dela were incredible competitors but the fact trixie went from going home early and returning in her season to actually having a shot at winning in this season shows how hard she worked, she came the farthest out of all of them

Katya actually stood her own against Alaska. The lip sync wins were just biased towards Alaska. Trixie however clearly stood no chance against Shangela and Trixie's fans knew it.

Bebe looked basic compared to the other top 4. Trixie, Shangela, and Kennedy looked regal, Bebe looked like she was on the runway for a normal challenge.

Most people wanted to see the two highest ranking Queens of AS3 battle it out for the crown. The returning eliminated & vengeful Queens unfairly robbed Shangela of her EARNED chance to compete against Trixie - that's the problem😕

The girls didn’t choose Shangela for whatever reason, but it isn’t just because of her sending them home. Thorgy voted for her to be on top 2 which means 4 girls out of the 7 could have put Shangela up there, but they didn’t. I’m happy that Trixie got her all stars win though.

I do agree that Shangela absolutely should have advanced to the final two along with Trixie, and I'm so proud of all the queens' work this season. The decision to have the eliminated queens come back and choose the top two plus the obvious toll the #AllStars3 rules took on Dela have me convinced that the rules for AS4 HAVE to change. In the end the queen who won the most was barred from getting to the top by the queens whom THE RULES forced her to send home. All that said I'm so happy for Trixie, she really worked hard and did an amazing job. I just want to see the rules of the next AS season be a bit more fair.

Based off the finale alone, Trixie was the ABSOLUTE winner. She murdered everyone. That black dress was the best outfit of the entire season. And everyone expected her to flop on the dance, but she DIDNT. Trixie and Shangela absolute top 2. Happy with either winner.
If they were going to do that stupid jury twist instead of the eliminated queens pick it should have been chad and Alaska who gets to join them in the hall of fame.
Sarah L lol neither were the eliminated queens according to them they never saw how well shangela did but still they decided who was top two I know for sure chad would choose professionally but not sure if Alaska will I love her but she did save Roxy multiple times on AS2 but I love them both.
Trixie knew herself so well by the time she got to All Stars and delivered so consistently that I think people were not as impressed that they should have been. Hearing her behind the scenes takes puts a lot of things into perspective. 1) Dolly was her Snatch Game and she considered going through with it still but received advice not to. 2) She felt that in S7 she was putting on a fake personality to hide her insecurities. She decided to be as vulnerable as possible in AS3 and was met with mixed reactions while filming. It was apparently a constant struggle of her being asked to ham it up for the camera and trying to just be an artist. 3) She was worried about Katya this entire time but had no way to check on her or receive updates about her friend's health. And Shangela's the perfect foil for her. Someone that has a strong sense of self and just needed to sand out the rough edges, someone that preaches confidence and fun and brings the energy to whatever she does. Watching her was heartwarming in a different way, but her AS3 journey wasn't any less poignant or meaningful. I would die to hear why the queens voted like they did, because they both deserved top two. (I do, however, think Kennedy deserved to lose. It's a lip sync and you don't get to see her lip sync because she's doing so many tricks.)
But Ben didn't want it :( If Ben had just stayed none of this woulda' happened! All would have been right with the world...That is unless the jury decided to leave him out of the final two...

Still watching this as we are in All stars 4 (June 2020). Is it any surprise that Alaska and Chad are STILL two of my favorite all stars?! Style, finesse, mad respect for your artistry. BTW, these pit stop episodes are making me smile during these otherwise awful pandemic quarantine days.

It's SO fun how both of them struggled SO hard to give Trixie compliments and they even said they couldn't believe she won, but then they said sooooo many things about Shangie, and how they could talk about her for hours, and that she did the best. LOL, I guess not even them saw Trixie as the real winner. It's been so long but it is still hard to watch those fucking last two episodes (haven't seen them yet) after ben quit.

Uche Ogwude I wouldn't say it's become bullshit. I just think they needed to wait another two years before AS3. I still think All Stars is important to the Drag Race culture. However, since they filmed this before season 10 and got the greenlight for season 11, they could've waited. That way, we could've had 3 additional seasons worth of Queens (9, 10, 11) to pull from.

I do agree that Shangela absolutely should have advanced to the final two along with Trixie, and I'm so proud of all the queens' work this season. The decision to have the eliminated queens come back and choose the top two plus the obvious toll the #AllStars3 rules took on Dela have me convinced that the rules for AS4 HAVE to change. In the end the queen who won the most was barred from getting to the top by the queens whom THE RULES forced her to send home. All that said I'm so happy for Trixie, she really worked hard and did an amazing job. I just want to see the rules of the next AS season be a bit more fair.

Based off the finale alone, Trixie was the ABSOLUTE winner. She murdered everyone. That black dress was the best outfit of the entire season. And everyone expected her to flop on the dance, but she DIDNT. Trixie and Shangela absolute top 2. Happy with either winner.

Trixie knew herself so well by the time she got to All Stars and delivered so consistently that I think people were not as impressed that they should have been. Hearing her behind the scenes takes puts a lot of things into perspective.
1) Dolly was her Snatch Game and she considered going through with it still but received advice not to.
2) She felt that in S7 she was putting on a fake personality to hide her insecurities. She decided to be as vulnerable as possible in AS3 and was met with mixed reactions while filming. It was apparently a constant struggle of her being asked to ham it up for the camera and trying to just be an artist.
3) She was worried about Katya this entire time but had no way to check on her or receive updates about her friend's health.
And Shangela's the perfect foil for her. Someone that has a strong sense of self and just needed to sand out the rough edges, someone that preaches confidence and fun and brings the energy to whatever she does. Watching her was heartwarming in a different way, but her AS3 journey wasn't any less poignant or meaningful.
I would die to hear why the queens voted like they did, because they both deserved top two. (I do, however, think Kennedy deserved to lose. It's a lip sync and you don't get to see her lip sync because she's doing so many tricks.)

It's SO fun how both of them struggled SO hard to give Trixie compliments and they even said they couldn't believe she won, but then they said sooooo many things about Shangie, and how they could talk about her for hours, and that she did the best. LOL, I guess not even them saw Trixie as the real winner. It's been so long but it is still hard to watch those fucking last two episodes (haven't seen them yet) after ben quit.

However, since they filmed this before season 10 and got the greenlight for season 11, they could've waited. That way, we could've had 3 additional seasons worth of Queens (9, 10, 11) to pull from.
