But being American, I prefer big homes with large bedrooms, a large kitchen, a large living room, and at least 10-12 ft high ceilings, a minimum size of 3000 sq ft. Won't mind paying cash USD200,000.
You may find bigger here (but 200k probably won’t be enough for what you described) but you will not find an America style house. No walk-in closets, no central air conditioning, no lawn sprinkler systems. But that’s not a bad thing!! You’re talking about a house in Thailand not the USA. And Thailand has many wonderful things that you won’t find in the USA. Open your mind a bit to compromise and you just might find what you’re looking for.

150 - 300 k budget is low for furniture. A superior quality king size bed alone is 100k. So for western taste in quality probably 600-700 with all appliances and outdoor furniture etc.
