Thanks for sharing, some really nice pots with those beautiful trees, definitely check out Bad Swan Ceramics (Australia) I think you'd like there stuff :)
Beautiful. I am just getting some seedlings and cuttings going to start my own japanese maple and bonsai journey in the PNW. Thank you for sharing your videos, they are very helpful! How do you keep all of these watered when you are out of town?
Awesome, that's where I started to! Glad to hear my videos are helpful! I have a sprinkler + hire my daughter ($$$) or friends to water when I am out of town 😄
It looks like there are some bonsai’s that have fertilizer on them. When do you start fertilizing them? Are the ones with fertilizer young ones that you want to get explosive growth on?
For really young trees/developing trees, I usually start fertilizing them in early Spring when trees are waking up. I use high N fertilizer for young trees (ex: seedlings) and use organic fertilizer for se-mature trees. For highly refined tree, I would wait to fertilize them till mid spring to keep the internodes short during the early growth season, them fertilize with biogold from Mid spring to early Fall.
The size of the Shin Deshojo in the ground is amazing!
It's getting bigger every year! More air layers from this tree in the future 😄
Absolute stunning work you do there ;-)
Thank you! I enjoy working on them every day! 🙏
Your trees and garden are so beautiful, thank you for sharing!
