good point On second thought, meron nga din pala yung tinatawag na lock up clutches ang mga AT. Also, thr "resitance" of the transmission vs the wheel is greater at lower gear like 2nd gear vs 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th gear. It means, even the transmission alone is doing "braking" at lower gear.
Should not be using Scotty Kilmer’s image. Highly inappropriate.
also, scotty kilmer is against using neutral at stops
I was told to first engage the handbrake and then engage "park".
Coasting in neutral is illegal in Ireland.
Never met an automatic that provides engine brake. The torque converter does not transmit torque back to the engine.
good point

most AT have manual mode or paddle shifter - use it to downshift and engine brake..
@@LyraqzX the point of rtel123 is that the engine does not have a direct solid connection to the transmission. Connection is only thru the TC.
@@LyraqzX Yes, have tried downshifting to 2 or 1, but the engine brake is so slight, it is useless.
@@rtel123 prolly depends on what car; my navara engine brakes like manual trans.
Kind of silly, so what if you have a manual, see nonsense
